I have been in this industry for over 12 years and Koowii has has been my No 1 supplier of web hosting for the past 3 years. They have provided a level of support that I have never seen before, and even when they had a minor issue (which they had no control over) about 4 months ago they kept me informed, updated and they sorted this problem out immeditely. The Support is amazing and all of my customers rave about Koowii. Personally I recommend Koowii because they solve the problems that I simply don't want to. Try getting that level of service from any of the "big" hosting companies.

😠 I want to recommend Koowii - but I just can't - they work so hard but have let me down so many times in the last 6 months with my sites being down that its caused me too much pain - Lets hope they can rebuild their reputation soon, they deserve a solid customer base, but I fear they have pissed off too many people with downtime. I have been with my previous hosting company for 4 years with many domains. My host was a small company and could not manage my Magento web site. I found Koowii web hosting via a post on some forums and they looked like they had the hosting service I required to get my magento site online. I was expecting it to be a big job, and I prepared my self for a weeks worth of moving files and fixing databases etc. The guys at Koowii really suprised me. Not only did they set up my hosting package in minutes, they installed my magento, reconfigured the database, fixed a couple of errors and within less than 2 hours and at no extra cost, I was online and celebrating the launch of my new web site days before I expected it to be.
I am now rebuilding another new we site and these guys are doing the whole project from start to finish.
I am very happy i made the choice to go with Koowii. They are a good Australian IT Company.

I have been with Koowii for a few months and I must say that they have a oiutstanding customer support and thats just for starters, I had very little knowledge of html and php scripts , and they spent alot of time patently helping me set up muy sites via advice from live support and tickets.
I have had zero downtime and its so much nicer having a server that opens pages instantly istead of lagging out my customers viewing pages.
I highly recomend Koowii.com for all hosting needs.

😁 Koowii have been great up until they Moved everybody to Melbourne back in November, since then its been a struggle to stay online. I was extremely happy to hear that they quickly decided to move over to ICO in Sydney, they have an outstanding reputation for up time and dealing with issues.

😁 I have a shopping cart hosted with Koowii and i think the service, support and the people there are great. I was referred to Koowii web hosting from a friend who had also signed up about a month earlier.
Since they moved there DC to Distribute IT back in November 2010, the hosting has not been as good. They did explain they made a bad choice in data centers and have now signed up a deal with ICO a large datacenter in Sydneys Microsoft building with duel redundancies etc.
I must say that it looks like distribute IT has dragged us through hot coals over the last couple of months but at least koowii's support staff continue to answer the phones and live support to communicate with me when problems occurred. I am looking forward to Koowii changing data centers, i know things will return back to the good old service I had when i started. I guess shit happens but its how we deal with it that matters, and Koowii have acted on changes when they saw this partnership was not working with [read more...]

😠 Koowii were great to begin with, then down time started occuring regularly and lengthy time getting back online. So they moved us from the USA server to an AUS one that they had more control over. Then down time started occuring again, so Koowii advised for us to move to a VPS. It was great! For a while, then down time galore! To make matters worse NO SUPPORT FOR THREE DAYS WHILE 5 SITES DOWN, could not believe it, thought they had shut down.
Do yourself a favour and don't risk facing the same frustration we have had and are having (paid up for a years worth at a time).

😁 Koowii is a great service, I have been with them for a a long time, and I am happy. my previous hosts could never respond or would not supply contact number for phone support. Koowii give me a direct number to a support the, they have 24 live support chat, and most emails generally answered with in 1 hour.
I also had some web development from Koowii and they did a very good job with in the time I required and the price was about 20% cheaper than other developers i had requested quotes from.
I would highly recommend Koowii for web hosting or web development.

😃 I HAVE BEEN WITH kOOWII FOR JUST OVER 12 MONTHS. UP UNTIL OCTOBER 2010 WE HAVE HAD ZERO DOWN TIME, THEN WE DID EXPERIENCE UNSTABLE SERVERS FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. 😞 good pricing, but not recommended. I have a client's magento site hosted with Koowii, for about 4 months, and constantly having problems, with the site going down.
the customer service chat is pretty good (when available) and phone support also good, but the site goes down for hours up to a day at least once a month and it is not reliable.

😠 Very good support and service, and the worst web hosting company. We have web hosting with them, and suffering two or three days server down, almost every two month, lost emails. consider to move to other provider.
