Zooku is a Romanian web hosting and domain-services provider operated by Zooku Solutions SRL, headquartered in Târgu Mureș. The company has been active since 2003, giving it more than two decades of experience in the Romanian hosting market. Robert Laszlo is associated with the company as co-owner. Zooku serves both Romanian and international customers, with its website available in Romanian and English.

Its portfolio covers Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, PrestaShop Hosting, VPS, Email Hosting, Domains, SSL Certificates, DNS Hosting, Domain Parking, server administration and technical consulting. The range is broad enough to cover small personal websites, business sites, online stores, legacy PHP applications and virtual private servers.

The newest shared-hosting generation is based on cPanel and Romanian infrastructure. The Personal range begins with CP2, which includes 2 GB SSD storage, unlimited traffic, one hosted domain, five mailboxes, daily backups and free migration. Larger packages provide considerably more storage, hosted domains and email capacity, with plans reaching 125 GB of SSD space.

The cPanel Business range is better suited to companies and developers that need more than conventional PHP hosting. In addition to PHP, the environment supports Node.js, Python and Ruby. CloudLinux provides account isolation, Imunify360 adds security protection, LiteSpeed and LSCache improve web performance, and Softaculous simplifies application installation.

A separate WordPress Hosting family includes WP5, WP10, WP15, WP20 and WP30. Depending on the package, customers receive between 10 GB and 110 GB of SSD storage, unmetered traffic, daily backups and free migration. WordPress management is handled through cPanel together with WP Toolkit and Softaculous. AlmaLinux, Imunify360 and LiteSpeed/LSCache form the core hosting environment, while these packages include a 99.99% minimum uptime specification.

Zooku also maintains its older hosting platform for customers running applications that still depend on PHP 5.4 through PHP 7.4. Packages include Minimal, Entry, Startup, Evolution, All Inclusive, Professional and Business Plus, with storage allocations ranging from approximately 1.5 GB to 24 GB SSD. This gives older websites an additional migration path when an immediate upgrade to modern PHP versions is not practical.

The All Inclusive package combines 7 GB SSD hosting with unlimited traffic and email accounts and includes a .RO, .COM or .EU domain. Startup, Professional and Business Plus provide progressively more resources for business websites and larger workloads. Daily backups and hosting migration are included across much of this range.

Specialized PrestaShop Hosting is available for online stores. PrestaShop Mini Store provides 12.5 GB SSD storage, while PrestaShop Mega Store increases storage to 50 GB and provides higher resource allocations. These packages include WAF protection, malware and antivirus scanning, brute-force protection, daily backups, staging functionality and optional dedicated database resources. The PrestaShop environment remains suitable for customers maintaining established stores that depend on the supported software stack.

The VPS range includes several configurations designed around different balances of CPU, RAM and storage. Available packages include VPS Max, Balanced, Data, Power, Storage, WIKI Pro and Ultra Seodays. Configurations extend up to 16 vCPU and 500 GB of storage, with dedicated IP addresses, 1 Gbps connectivity and unmetered traffic.

Three VPS administration levels make the service flexible for both experienced administrators and customers who want more assistance. Standard administration includes root access, initial configuration, one technical intervention per month and a weekly Disaster Recovery snapshot. cPanel administration adds operating-system and cPanel installation, migration assistance, reseller-level access and additional technical interventions. Zooku+ provides the most complete administration service, including platform integration, security configuration, monthly administration, up to ten support interventions and seven daily Disaster Recovery snapshots.

Professional Email Hosting is available independently from normal web hosting. Email Premium starts with 10 GB of storage, followed by Advanced, Business, Enterprise and Infinity packages with 20 GB, 40 GB, 100 GB and 250 GB respectively. These services support unlimited users and include antivirus, antispam, DKIM, DMARC, SPF, Webmail, IMAP, POP3 and daily backups.

Domain services are another important part of the business. Zooku has handled more than 40,000 domain registrations and supports more than 1,350 domain extensions. Romanian .RO domains can be managed alongside popular international extensions such as .COM and .EU, making it practical to keep hosting, DNS, email and domain administration under a single account.

Free DNS Hosting and Domain Parking are available, with support for unlimited DNS records and subdomains. Email Welcome provides a lightweight email option with 2 GB storage and three mailboxes, while Zooku DNS Manager handles DNS configuration.

SSL services include free Let's Encrypt certificates together with commercial Sectigo DV, Wildcard and EV certificates. This allows customers to choose between automated free HTTPS certificates and commercial certificates for projects with additional validation requirements.

Beyond standard hosting, Zooku provides technical consultancy, website audits, security work, optimization and server administration. A separate infrastructure-monitoring service operates continuously and is designed for customers who require more proactive supervision of their servers and applications.
