*📜 Plan description

x10 Basic is the permanently free entry-level shared hosting plan shown on the page. It is presented with DirectAdmin, 2 databases, 3 email addresses, 500MB of initial disk space, and hosting for 3 domains. The free tier is positioned as a real website hosting environment rather than a trial, with upgrade paths available when limits become too small. The page notes that the listed database, email, domain, and storage allowances are the free account amounts and that upgrades can be purchased later, while the 500MB storage figure is specifically described as an initial quota with free upgrades available for qualifying accounts. The service is built for standard website publishing, small personal projects, experiments, portfolios, and starter WordPress deployments. It supports custom scripting, FTP-based file handling, phpMyAdmin access for MySQL management, email configuration, domain management, and one-click software deployment. The platform description says WordPress can be installed in under five minutes and that more than 300 one-click installers are available for common scripts such as WordPress, Joomla, and MyBB. The page also promotes a library of more than 150 website templates together with a site builder and ecommerce-oriented templates, so the plan is designed for beginners as well as users who want to upload their own PHP applications. Support for the free tier is community-led rather than dedicated staff support, with self-service help, forum assistance, and Discord guidance emphasized instead of a private ticket queue. Operational rules are stricter on the free service: account holders must log in at least once every 30 days, progress toward a working site is expected shortly after signup, continuously running or unattended scripts are prohibited, cron execution is limited, proxy usage is forbidden, adult material is forbidden on free hosting, file-storage style use is not allowed, and high-resource sites can be restricted or suspended. No fixed uptime SLA is stated for the free tier, and the plan should be treated as a flexible free shared hosting environment rather than a business-grade guaranteed availability service.

The broader hosting group is described as a cloud-based website hosting platform backed by enterprise server hardware, premium networks, private cloud software, and a 100% SSD storage environment. x10Hosting presents itself as an industry veteran with more than 10 years in service and frames the offering around accessibility, simple publishing, and the ability to grow from free hosting to higher service levels later. The common feature set highlighted on the page includes user-friendly account management, website builder access, more than 150 templates, over 300 one-click script installers, FTP file management, phpMyAdmin database administration, domain and email configuration tools, and a hosting stack optimized for common PHP applications and WordPress. The service messaging emphasizes full website control, easy upgrades when needs expand, and a path from starter hosting toward premium services. Community touchpoints on the domain include forum support, Discord help, and contact channels such as email and a toll-free US phone number, while abuse and DMCA reports are handled directly. Terms published on the same domain also state that customers are responsible for their own backups even though backups may be retained by the provider, and they recommend keeping independent copies of site data. Older community discussions on the same site indicate infrastructure in US datacenters, aligning this hosting group with United States-based deployment.

📄 Editorial Review

x10Hosting is one of those long-running brands that still feels built around a very specific idea: make web hosting accessible first, then upsell only when a site genuinely outgrows the free tier. The company traces its start to 2004, operates as x10Hosting, LLC, and keeps a fairly simple English-language storefront with pricing shown in U.S. dollars. The overall lineup is narrower than a modern "everything cloud" provider, but it is coherent: free shared hosting, paid shared hosting, a stronger Infinity+ semi-dedicated layer, unmanaged VPS, light domain handling, SSL, website builder tools, and a contact-led path into dedicated servers.

The free side remains the main entry point. Their x10 Basic plan uses DirectAdmin, starts with 2 databases, 3 email accounts, 500 MB initial disk quota, and 3 domains, and is positioned as an always-free starting plan. It also includes the parts beginners actually need: FTP access, PHP/MyAdmin-style database handling, email setup, domain management, a site builder, WordPress-friendly setup, and hundreds of one-click installs. That makes it more usable than the typical "free hosting" offer that looks generous until the control panel and tooling are stripped down.x10premium.com

The paid side is where the service becomes much more practical for real projects. x10Premium Infinity / x10premium.com is a classic unlimited-style shared plan with unlimited domains, storage, bandwidth, email, FTP, and databases, plus cPanel, Softaculous, Acronis daily backups, PHP 7/8 support, MySQL, Perl, Python, and a built-in site builder. Above that, Infinity+ acts as their semi-dedicated bridge between ordinary shared hosting and a dedicated server. It adds clearer resource allocation, lower customer density, extra monitoring, dedicated IP/SSL options, and a more performance-oriented stack built on OnApp, CloudLinux, Apache, Varnish, and LiteSpeed’s PHP SAPI.

The VPS side is much more technical and much less polished for beginners. x10VPS / x10vps.com is sold as an unmanaged service with full root access, SSD-backed plans, daily backups, and a simple upgrade path between packages. That keeps prices low, but it also means customers are expected to know what they are doing. The website still leans on OpenVZ and older Linux-era terminology, so this part of the portfolio feels more budget infrastructure than modern premium cloud VPS. It is workable for experienced users who want inexpensive Linux virtualization, but it is not the most forward-looking VPS offer on the market. x10vps.com is basically inactive.

One thing they do well is the upgrade path. Someone can start with free hosting, move into Infinity shared hosting, step into Infinity+, and eventually ask for a dedicated server without changing provider family. That continuity is probably the biggest practical advantage of the brand.

😠 Just as the top commentor said this is DATA THEFT trap and not a legit hosting,.
Do not ssh , do not ftp or login there.
They will usually disable your account within 24 hours of registration and ask you to ssh... They will steal your email/pass and you anything upload.
STAY AWAY and warn everyone

😠 They change conditions without warning. The websites stop working without warning. Very upset with this hosting since they removed CPanel
They remove the SSL service without warning. A very bad experience. Just look at the X10 forum in its free plan, a disaster
