*📜 Plan description

Freelancer is the first reseller hosting level shown on the WebHostingBuzz site and is designed as a starting point for designers, developers and consultants who want to add hosting to their service portfolio. The package includes 50 GB of SSD storage and a generous 10000 GB of monthly bandwidth, which together can comfortably support a collection of small business sites, portfolios and blogs with typical traffic levels. Under this plan you can create up to 25 separate cPanel accounts, each with its own login, email setup and isolated resources, while there is no explicit limit on the total number of websites and domains hosted across those accounts. All of the hosted domains can make use of the included free SSL certificates, so every client site can be served over HTTPS at no additional certificate cost. The bundle also advertises a free Blesta license that can be used to handle customer billing, automation and ticketing as well as private nameservers, which allow the reseller to operate under their own brand rather than exposing the upstream provider in domain records. Pricing for Freelancer is presented as starting at 19.36 USD per month with billing calculated on an annual term, where 232.32 USD is charged upfront for twelve months of service and the same yearly amount applies on renewal. This mix of starter level resource limits, white label presentation and integrated billing software makes Freelancer a convenient entry point for people who want to test the reseller model without committing to very high monthly costs.

Every reseller hosting plan at WebHostingBuzz is built on the same CloudLinux and LiteSpeed stack as the shared hosting range, combining cPanel logins for end users with WebHostManager access for the reseller so packages, accounts and DNS zones can be managed from one dashboard. Softaculous is enabled across the platform and allows rapid deployment of applications such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, OpenCart and phpBB, making it easy to roll out a large number of blogs, storefronts and community sites for clients. All reseller tiers include free SSL certificates that can be used on an unlimited number of domains and subdomains, and the support team offers free migration of existing cPanel accounts from other providers to simplify onboarding. Marketing material emphasises redundant Dell, HP and Supermicro hardware in Tier IV data centers, a provider wide uptime target of 99.9 percent and a forty five day money back guarantee, giving resellers confidence that the infrastructure behind their brand is robust. The global network spans multiple regions so projects can be placed closer to their audience, while Cloudflare partnership options, CodeGuard backup tools and real time malware scanning add performance and protection layers on top of the base service. Customer support specialists are available twenty four hours a day by live chat, helpdesk ticket and phone to assist with configuration, troubleshooting and migrations, which makes the reseller platform suitable both for classic hosting resellers and for digital agencies that simply want to consolidate many client sites on a single monthly invoice.

📄 Editorial Review

WebHostingBuzz is a long-standing hosting provider that has been active since 2002 and today operates under World Host Group US Inc. They serve a global customer base of more than 28,000 clients across over 140 countries and position themselves as a mid-range, performance-oriented host rather than an ultra-budget player. The focus is on fast infrastructure (NVMe/SSD, LiteSpeed), strong SLAs, and responsive support, wrapped in a fairly traditional cPanel ecosystem that will feel familiar to most users.

Their core product portfolio covers the classic categories: Shared Hosting (Web Hosting), Reseller Hosting, Virtual Private Servers (VPS), Dedicated Hosting, and Domain Registration. Shared hosting is offered through three main Linux plans (Personal, Developer, Business) aimed at everyone from beginners to busy small business sites. All shared plans are built on CloudLinux with LiteSpeed web servers, SSD storage, cPanel, Softaculous one-click installer (450+ applications), free SSL, and integration with Cloudflare CDN and CodeGuard backups. Unlimited bandwidth, modern security tooling (including real-time malware scanning and Imunify360-style protection) and free website migration are standard, so shared hosting is clearly designed to be an "all-in-one" package for typical websites.

Reseller hosting extends this stack to agencies and hosting resellers. Plans run on CloudLinux and LiteSpeed, include cPanel for end users plus WebHostManager (WHM) for account management, and bundle extras such as WHMCS or Blesta licenses, a merchant account option, and SSL certificates. The infrastructure leverages Dell, HP and Supermicro servers in Tier-IV data centers, and the messaging is strongly oriented towards "virtually no downtime" and fast support for partners who themselves are supporting end clients. Reseller accounts can also be used by a single customer to host many in-house projects under one roof.

The VPS offering targets users who need more control but still want managed-style convenience. Their SSD VPS line is built on RAID10 storage and 64 GB RAM per hypervisor, with full root access, two IPv4 addresses by default, and management through SolusVM at the node level plus cPanel/WHM for website and account management. VPS plans are marketed with a 100% uptime guarantee, 45-day money-back guarantee, Tier-IV data centers with redundant global connectivity, and the same Cloudflare/CodeGuard and developer-friendly stack (PHP, MySQL, Perl, CGI, SSH, etc.) as shared hosting. This makes the VPS range appealing for developers and businesses who want isolation and scalability without running everything entirely on their own.

At the high end, dedicated servers are presented as high-performance, configurable bare-metal machines housed in Tier-IV data centers and backed by a 100% network uptime SLA. Hardware is based on Supermicro platforms with RAID10 support, SSD and HDD combinations for redundancy, and Cisco networking equipment with redundant 10 Gbit infrastructure and dedicated 100 Mbps ports (upgradeable to 1 Gbit). Same-day setup (within about four hours), optional fully managed service, and a broad menu of add-ons (extra bandwidth, unmetered ports, software licenses, Windows Server operating systems, CloudLinux, cPanel/WHM, WHMCS, Softaculous) reflect a fairly mature dedicated offering that can be tuned for different workloads.

Domain services round out the portfolio. WebHostingBuzz acts as a registrar through an internal sister company (WHG Hosting Services Ltd) and offers a broad set of TLDs, with domains managed through the same client area used for hosting. Domain services are integrated with their 24/7 support channels (live chat, email/ticket, phone), which is convenient for smaller customers who want everything in one place.

A notable aspect of the brand is its eco-positioning. WebHostingBuzz highlights a long-term sponsorship and partnership with The Woodland Trust and promotes all hosting as carbon-neutral. For customers to whom sustainability matters, this is a differentiator versus many mid-size hosts that treat green initiatives as an afterthought.

😠 I've had an account here for 10 years, but it is time to leave. I was excited to see that they added NodeJS application deployments, and decided to write an application. Now, after 4 months of development, it stops working. Support is snitty and says they don't allow NodeJS for my plan now. I call this unethical, and am leaving.
