📄 Editorial Review

WebH is a Polish hosting provider operating since 2007, with services focused on hosting, virtual servers, Windows VPS and managed cloud storage. The brand is operated by ultimahost.pl Szeliga sp.j., a Polish company based in Łódź.

WebH has developed around virtualization and locally hosted infrastructure rather than domain registration or mass-market website services. Its history includes SSD-based VPS services from 2011, KVM virtualization introduced for higher-performance virtual servers in 2016, hourly backups from 2018 and hosting with automatic resource scaling from 2020.

The current portfolio includes Cloud Hosting, KVM VPS, Windows VPS, managed Nextcloud hosting, SSL certificates and DNS management. Domain registration and domain transfers are no longer part of the service range, although domains registered elsewhere can be connected to WebH hosting and managed through its DNS system.

Cloud Hosting is divided mainly between Cloud mini and Cloud PRO. Cloud mini includes 25 GB of storage and is suitable for smaller websites, while Cloud PRO provides 100 GB of storage together with unlimited transfer, domains, databases, email accounts and FTP accounts. PHP 7.4, 8.1, 8.3 and 8.4 are supported, along with MariaDB 11.4.

Cloud PRO adds SSH access and automatic resource scaling. The standard allocation is 1 vCPU and 2 GB RAM, while temporary capacity can increase to as much as 6 vCPU and 8 GB RAM for up to 72 hours each month. This is useful for websites and online stores that periodically require substantially more processing power without permanently moving to a larger hosting package.

Backups are an important part of the service. Cloud Hosting includes hourly backup copies with retention of up to 21 days, giving customers multiple restore points directly from the hosting environment. Cloud PRO customers paying for at least one year can also receive free migration of as many as three websites and 15 mailboxes from another hosting provider.

The KVM VPS platform is based on AMD EPYC processors, NVMe storage and full KVM virtualization. KVM Mini starts with 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 50 GB of storage, while KVM PRO allows considerably more flexible configurations. Customers receive root access and can deploy prepared operating-system templates or install their own ISO image. Available systems include AlmaLinux, Debian, Ubuntu and FreeBSD.

KVM PRO resources can be expanded with additional CPU cores, RAM and NVMe capacity. One IPv4 address is included and additional IPv4 addresses can be ordered separately. The KVM Storage range is intended for workloads requiring much larger disk capacity, starting at 2 TB and supporting configurations with up to 16 GB RAM.

Standard KVM Mini and KVM PRO packages include the hourly backup system, while KVM Storage does not. Customers using the storage-oriented servers should therefore maintain a separate backup strategy when the stored data is important.

The VPS service is self-managed. WebH maintains the physical infrastructure and virtualization environment, while operating-system administration, software installation, application maintenance and server security remain the customer's responsibility.

Windows VPS is available with Windows Server 2022 already licensed. These virtual servers use AMD EPYC processors, NVMe storage and Remote Desktop access. The basic package starts with 1 CPU core, 4 GB RAM and at least 100 GB NVMe storage. Larger Standard and PRO packages provide 2 CPU cores with 8 GB RAM and 4 CPU cores with 16 GB RAM respectively. Hourly backups are included.

Managed Nextcloud is available for customers wanting private file synchronization and cloud storage without maintaining the underlying application themselves. Each account runs in an isolated Nextcloud environment maintained and updated by WebH, with administrative access and SSL included.

SSD Nextcloud packages start at 500 GB and include hourly backup copies. Higher-capacity HDD variants provide 2 TB or 5 TB at a lower cost per terabyte, but these packages do not include automatic backups. All Nextcloud data is stored in Poland.

Free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates with automatic renewal are available with normal hosting accounts. Commercial domain-validated SSL certificates can also be ordered.

Another useful feature is the five-year price guarantee covering qualifying core hosting and VPS services. The renewal price is protected for five years from the original purchase date, helping customers avoid unexpected price increases on long-running services. Optional extras and separately purchased add-ons are excluded.

The main website and technical documentation are primarily available in Polish. Some ordering and account interfaces support English, but a complete English-language version of the main website does not exist. Billing is primarily handled in PLN.

WebH currently serves approximately 6,000 customers, with around 4,000 VPS servers and 3,000 hosting accounts.
