*📜 Plan description
Essential is the entry VPS in the range at EUR 2.15 per month and is aimed at sandboxing, development environments, tiny services, and lightweight static websites.
It uses Intel Xeon Platinum based compute with 1 vCPU thread, 2 GB RAM, 15 GB NVMe SSD storage, a 1 Gbit/s network port, and 1 TB of outgoing transfer per month with incoming traffic not counted.
The pricing card marks free SSL certificates, free backup snapshots, the free web server control panel, and DDoS protection as included, while transactional email and email forwarding are excluded on this tier.
The signup flow shows no setup fee, monthly billing, cancellation at any time, and VAT added only later when applicable.
It is the smallest Webdock profile and the order flow notes that micro web workloads are fine, but heavier application stacks, desktop images, and larger resource demands should move to a larger profile.
These VPS profiles run on Webdock's own infrastructure in Denmark and are billed monthly only, with the first invoice prorated for the remainder of the current month and future charges collected on the first day of each month.
The environment is Linux-first and KVM-based, with Ubuntu web server images, clean Linux images such as Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux and CentOS, and browser-based management through their custom Web Server Control Panel.
Every server gets a dedicated IPv4 address plus IPv6 support, and the platform is designed around predictable pricing, instant upgrades or downgrades, and cancellation without setup fees.
Across the VPS range, the service emphasizes free Let's Encrypt SSL, backup snapshots, direct file and SSH-key management, API-driven automation, and a 1 Gbit/s connection profile, while higher-value configurations unlock extra bundled services such as transactional email and email forwarding.
Support is available through 24/7 chat and email, with phone support also offered, and the hosting footprint is tied to Webdock's Denmark facility with EU data residency, renewable-energy sourcing, redundant power and network design, and around-the-clock monitoring by support and NOC staff.
The control panel is intentionally focused on a single primary website per server, although more advanced multi-site setups can be built manually or with third-party panels if needed.

📄 Editorial Review
Webdock (est. 2017) is a focused cloud infrastructure provider rather than a classic all-purpose shared hosting brand. The service is built mainly around Linux VPS hosting, WordPress VPS, security tools, load balancing, extra IP services, backups, SSL, and developer-oriented cloud features, so the whole platform feels much closer to a modern VPS environment than to an entry-level shared hosting shop. The website is available in English, and pricing is displayed in EUR, USD, and DKK, which makes the offer easy to follow for both European and international customers. The main strength is that Webdock keeps the product line relatively clean. Instead of flooding the catalog with too many similar plans, they concentrate on Cloud VPS instances with NVMe storage, dedicated IPv4, IPv6 support, a free in-house control panel, free SSL, and backup snapshots. Supported operating systems include Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, and CentOS, which fits developers, agencies, SaaS projects, and businesses that want root access with a simpler management layer. Alongside the core VPS line, there is also WordPress VPS hosting, plus extras such as a Web Application Firewall, Load Balancer, additional IP addresses, transactional email, and mobile app management.
Webdock is meant for customers who want flexibility without unnecessary complexity. Even the lower plans include useful features that many competitors charge extra for, while the platform itself stays practical and lightweight. This is not the right place for someone specifically looking for Windows hosting, old-style shared hosting, or a broad catalog of dedicated servers. It works much better for users who want a straightforward, Linux-first VPS platform with modern tooling and a more technical mindset.
Webdock also comes across as a company built by people who understand the difference between selling server space and building usable infrastructure. The business grew out of a web-development and hosting background, and that shows in the way the products are structured. The company is based in Denmark and operates as an independent business, with a clear focus on owning and controlling more of its own platform instead of relying entirely on third-party reselling.

😁 Many user said they are great, but to me they are really unique.
They do a lot of heavy lifting. Semi managed they say, but almost any issue you throw at them, they fixed it. Their engineers worked endlessly if there is a hardware issue.
They are not shame of telling about downtime. Their status page is open for public. And they listen to the user about providing more information on the status page. Again, they want to fix thing if anything goes wrong.
Their offer are great. Not the cheapest by dollar, but the value you get is hard to find any other competitors. There are tons of extra that they provide without additional charge.
However be advised, having a provider too good can make a user get lazy. While they are this good in taking away tons of chores of maintaining a server from user, I would say the user should also get hands on and manually doing maintenance just avoid getting rusty.
And last thing, they do only monthly payment, it almost as if they dont want user to commit for long term. I think they believe people do stick with them after actually using their service, and people actually do.
It is risk free to try for around a day for their server before user get billed. Cancelling anytime, and the unused credit will be refund.
So be forewarned, they are this good.
