Versio is a Dutch domain-registration and web-hosting provider founded in 2008 by Reshad Bashir. The business grew from a low-cost Dutch hosting company into a considerably larger operation and later became part of Total Webhosting Solutions. Versio now operates as a trade name of Your Hosting B.V., which is part of the wider Your.Online (your.online) hosting group.

A major consolidation took effect on January 1, 2022, when PCextreme, Neostrada, Flexwebhosting, QDC and Alfahost were integrated into Versio. The operating company, Your Hosting B.V., is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK number 34128261 and VAT number NL813259307B01.

Versio covers Domain Registration, Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS, Website Builder, Email Hosting, SSL Certificates and API access. Older documentation also contains references to Dedicated Servers and Cloudbox services, although the current server range is primarily focused on VPS.

Domain registration remains one of the company's central services. Versio works with organizations including ICANN, SIDN, DNS Belgium, EURid and Nominet and supports a broad assortment of generic and country-code extensions. DNS management is included, DNS modifications are processed quickly, bulk management is available, and resellers can automate registration and management through the API.

Shared Hosting is available through Start, Complete and Max packages. Storage ranges from 100 GB to 250 GB, while plans support between two and ten websites. Backup retention varies from 7 to 60 days depending on the package. WordPress can be installed with one click, while larger packages include additional migration, anti-spam and security functionality.

The shared-hosting platform uses NVMe storage, redundant SAN storage with RAID-60 and workload balancing. Hosting workloads operate in a high-availability cloud environment, allowing services to be moved between systems when necessary. Free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates are included with hosting accounts.

Reseller Hosting provides substantially more flexibility for agencies, developers and companies running hosting services for their own customers. Silver, Gold and Platinum plans provide 80 GB, 150 GB and 300 GB of SSD capacity respectively, with unlimited traffic and unlimited hosted domains. The reseller environment is white-label and supports custom nameservers, individual DirectAdmin accounts for customers, premium DDoS protection and backup retention of up to 60 days. Installatron and Softaculous provide simplified deployment of applications including WordPress, Drupal and Joomla.

VPS Hosting is intended for customers requiring administrator-level control over their server environment. Current Cloud II, Cloud V and Cloud X configurations range from 2 to 6 CPU cores, 2 GB to 10 GB RAM, 80 GB to 320 GB SSD storage and 5 TB to 15 TB monthly traffic. Backup capacity matching the storage allocation is included.

VPS customers can deploy operating systems such as Ubuntu and CentOS and reinstall the operating system from the customer portal. Debian and Windows options have also been supported within the VPS platform, together with optional DirectAdmin installation. VPS infrastructure is located in the Netherlands.

Sitebuilder combines hosting with a drag-and-drop website builder and professional email. It supports unlimited pages, responsive layouts, blogs, photo galleries and online stores, with more than 100 templates available. E-commerce functionality supports payment options including iDEAL, Bancontact/MrCash, SOFORT, PayPal, credit cards, direct debit and bank transfer.

Email Hosting provides email addresses using the customer's own domain, with unlimited accounts and storage. Filtering is handled through SpamExperts (spamexperts.com) and protects against spam, phishing and malware. Standard IMAP-compatible email clients can be used with the service.

Versio includes free Let's Encrypt certificates with hosting and also offers commercial SSL Certificates. Paid options include Domain Validation, Domain Validation Wildcard and Extended Validation certificates. Installation assistance can also be ordered.

The API is particularly useful for hosting resellers, developers and companies that need automated domain registration, DNS management or hosting provisioning. It allows many routine account and domain-management operations to be integrated directly into external systems.

Prices are primarily shown in Euro (EUR). Dutch is the main website language, while an English version is available for a significant portion of the platform. Localization is not completely consistent across all sections, so some areas remain easier to use in Dutch.
