*📜 Plan description

The 2 CPU-2 Gb-20 Gb-SSD preset provides 2 vCPU, 2 GB of RAM and 20 GB of SSD storage. The regular monthly charge is 820 RUB, and the 10% annual-payment discount produces an effective monthly rate of 738 RUB. This configuration offers more processing and memory headroom for a small production website, a modest database-backed application, several lightweight services, a development stack or a remote Windows workload where 1 GB of RAM would be restrictive. The KVM environment assigns the advertised resources to the server and supports later online changes to processor, memory and storage parameters.

VDSka provides flexible virtual dedicated servers built on KVM hardware virtualization, with isolated resources and no resource overselling. The infrastructure uses enterprise-class server platforms, RAID-based disk subsystems with integrity monitoring, continuous host and guest monitoring, and a management workflow that allows CPU, RAM, disk size, disk type, DDoS protection and billing period to be adjusted online. Disk capacity can be increased after deployment, and some changes may require a reboot, but tariff upgrades and downgrades do not require a complete operating-system reinstallation. Server creation normally takes about two to three minutes. Linux templates include Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, 21.10, 22.04 and 24.04 LTS, Debian 9 through 12, and CentOS 7 through 9. Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2019 are also available, while a custom ISO, RAW or QCOW2 image can be connected through support. Windows installations are supplied as trial systems without a bundled Microsoft license or activation, so licensing remains the customer's responsibility. The preset configuration uses SSD storage, while NVMe can be selected when building a custom server in the calculator. Available deployment regions include Moscow in Russia, Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, Almaty in Kazakhstan, Helsinki in Finland, Riga in Latvia, Eygelshoven in the Netherlands, Frankfurt am Main in Germany, Warsaw in Poland, and Dallas or Miami in the United States. Network ports are advertised at up to 1 Gbit/s. The general traffic allowance is 3 TB per month, while Kazakhstan was reduced to 1 TB per month from April 7, 2026; additional traffic has been listed at 150 RUB per extra TB. Technical server backups are created without an additional fee, and customers are encouraged to maintain their own independent copies, including backups to an external cloud service. Basic DDoS mitigation is included, with L2-L4 protection promoted for websites and game servers; additional filtering and tuning can also cover application-layer attacks. The contractual annual availability target is 99.9%, and the service advertises one month of compensation when a server is unavailable for more than one hour. Technical support operates every day around the clock through control-panel tickets and email, with phone and live-chat channels also available. The main page reports average responses of about 32 seconds in chat and three minutes for a ticket. Basic administration and migration assistance are available without an extra charge for routine server tasks. Accepted payment categories include bank cards, cryptocurrency and cashless bank transfer. Refunds may be requested for unused funds on orders paid for one month or longer, calculated proportionally to elapsed rental time and traffic use; one-week orders and services disabled for complaints are excluded, and processing can take up to 30 days. Billing is available for one week, one month, three months, six months or one year. The normal monthly rate applies to one-month billing, with discounts of 3% for three months, 5% for six months and 10% for annual prepayment.

📄 Editorial Review

VDSka is a Russian virtual-server provider developed from August 2017, with closed testing beginning in January 2018, public testing following in May, and full commercial operation starting on June 1, 2018. The service is legally operated by Russian individual entrepreneur Anton Aleksandrovich Levin.

The company concentrates on KVM VPS/VDS hosting rather than conventional shared hosting. Its services include Linux VDS, Windows VDS, configurable virtual servers, DDoS protection, DNS hosting, and an affiliate program. It does not operate as a general-purpose shared-hosting provider with large bundles of domains, website builders, reseller accounts, or managed WordPress packages.

VDS configurations are available in Moscow, Bishkek, Almaty, Helsinki, Riga, Eygelshoven, Frankfurt, Warsaw, Dallas, and Miami. This combination gives customers a useful choice of Russian, Central Asian, European, and United States locations.

Virtualization is based on KVM, with Proxmox handling the underlying virtual infrastructure. Each server receives allocated CPU cores, RAM, storage, and full root or administrator access. Provisioning is automated, and a newly ordered server is normally ready within several minutes.

The server configurator supports up to 8 virtual CPU cores, 16 GB of RAM, and SSD or NVMe storage. Customers can change CPU, memory, disk capacity, storage type, DDoS protection, and billing period from their account. Storage can be expanded but cannot later be reduced, while some hardware changes require a server reboot.

Linux installations include Ubuntu, Debian, and CentOS templates, together with the option to install another operating system from an ISO image. Current choices include Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and Debian 12, although older templates such as Ubuntu 18.04, Debian 9, and CentOS 7 are still available. Production customers should use an actively maintained release rather than one of the legacy images.

Windows VDS can be accessed through Remote Desktop and supports installations based on Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2019. Custom ISO installation is also possible. Several of these versions are already outside normal Microsoft support, making licensing, security updates, and application compatibility important considerations.

Each server includes an IPv4 address, and IPv6 /64 networks are also available. Most locations provide network ports of up to 1 Gbps. Traffic allocations depend on the selected country. Many configurations include up to 3 TB per month, while Kazakhstan servers were reduced to 1 TB per month in April 2026 because of increased carrier costs. Additional traffic can be purchased when required.

Daily server backups are created automatically. Assistance is also available for configuring secondary copies on external storage platforms. These backups offer a useful recovery layer, although business-critical applications should still maintain independent off-site backups controlled by the customer.

Basic server administration is included without a separate management charge. Support can assist with ordinary configuration work, software installation, migrations, and troubleshooting within reasonable limits. This makes the service more approachable than a completely unmanaged VPS, although customers running complex applications should still have appropriate Linux or Windows administration knowledge.

DDoS mitigation is an important part of the platform. Basic protection is included with Russian servers, while stronger filtering packages are available through Mitigator (mitigator.ru). The filtering system includes network-layer mitigation and Layer 7 protection without requiring customers to disclose SSL private keys.

The free DNS Hosting service uses three geographically separated DNS servers in Russia. Its structure includes a concealed primary server that replicates DNS zones to public secondary servers, and the DNS infrastructure is protected against denial-of-service attacks.

The interface supports Russian, English, and Kyrgyz, with prices primarily shown in Russian rubles. English localization is incomplete, and some account, technical, and contractual content remains in Russian. Browser translation may therefore be necessary for customers who do not understand Russian.

The contractual structure requires attention from business customers. The commercial offer identifies Anton Aleksandrovich Levin as the service operator, while the privacy policy refers to Kyrgyz company OsOO Alliance Torg Company and Kyrgyz legislation. Other contractual wording also mentions vdska.kg and the Civil Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Companies requiring formal procurement, tax documentation, or regulatory certainty should confirm the contracting entity and applicable jurisdiction before ordering.
