UKRNAMES is a Ukrainian domain registrar, hosting provider, and data center operator founded in 2007 and operated by LLC "Ukrainian Internet Names Center." The company became an official .UA registrar and received ICANN accreditation in 2008, expanded into web hosting in 2010, and opened its first own data center in Kharkiv in 2012. Its current portfolio combines domain registration, shared hosting, virtual and dedicated servers, colocation, SSL certificates, remotely hosted MikroTik routers, and reseller services within the same customer platform.

Domain registration remains one of its main strengths. More than 400 domain extensions are supported, covering Ukrainian extensions such as .UA, .COM.UA, .KYIV.UA, .IN.UA and .УКР together with international TLDs including .COM, .NET, .ORG and .INFO. Domain services extend beyond basic registration to transfers, DNS management, domain history tools, searches for expiring and deleted domains, anti-phishing functions, and a Backorder service for attempting to obtain domains after deletion. When several customers request the same backordered domain, allocation can continue through a private auction.

Professional resellers receive volume-based domain pricing and can work through the Ukrnames management interface or integrate services directly through EPP/API. Registration, renewal, transfers, nameserver changes, contact management, DNS, automatic renewals, privacy options, hosting and SSL services can therefore be integrated into third-party billing or registrar systems.

The shared-hosting range is divided between European and Ukrainian infrastructure. European Web Hosting uses SSD/NVMe storage and includes a five-day free trial, cPanel, DDoS protection, free website migration, support for more than 200 applications, SSL installation, unlimited traffic and server locations in France, Poland and Germany. Higher-tier European hosting packages can also include a domain registration for the first year.

Web Hosting Ukraine runs from Ukrnames infrastructure in Kharkiv. These plans use SSD storage and provide unlimited traffic together with email, database and hosting resources according to the selected package. Plans are available for projects ranging from a single website to accounts hosting up to ten websites, making this option particularly useful for customers who need their content physically hosted in Ukraine.

Separate WordPress Hosting and Joomla Hosting options simplify deployment of these CMS platforms while retaining the cPanel-based hosting environment. WordPress users also have WP Toolkit available through cPanel. The hosting platform supports PHP, MySQL, phpMyAdmin, FTP, IPv6, SSL administration, email functions and multiple PHP versions. CloudLinux provides account-level resource isolation on shared servers.

For customers needing administrator-level control, VDS/VPS servers use KVM virtualization in the company's Kharkiv data centers. Each virtual server includes root access, a dedicated IPv4 address and configurable CPU, RAM and storage resources. Customers can host unrestricted numbers of websites, domains, databases and system accounts within the technical limits of the chosen virtual server. The VDS management interface includes power controls, backup functions and PTR record administration.

Dedicated Servers are also hosted directly in the Kharkiv infrastructure. Configurations range from entry-level Xeon systems to larger dual-processor Dell and HP servers with ECC memory, SSD storage, hardware RAID options, iLO on supported machines and 1 Gbps network connectivity. Initial setup, hardware monitoring and round-the-clock hardware assistance are included, while additional server administration can be ordered separately.

A less common service is the rental of MikroTik hEX S routers hosted remotely in Ukraine. These appliances provide a dedicated Ukrainian IPv4 address and full RouterOS administration, with support for technologies such as IPsec, IKEv2, L2TP, OpenVPN, SSTP and PPTP. This can be useful for businesses requiring a Ukrainian VPN endpoint or remotely managed routing equipment without installing their own physical appliance in a data center.

Colocation Hosting is available across two company-operated facilities in Kharkiv. Customers can place rack-mounted or tower servers with power, cooling, Internet connectivity, IPv4 and IPv6 resources, physical security, remote restart assistance and IP-KVM access. The availability of a second physically separate facility also makes it possible to build backup and disaster-recovery arrangements within the same provider.

The SSL portfolio covers DV, OV, EV, Wildcard, Multi-Domain, SAN and Code Signing certificates, including products from established certificate authorities as well as Ukrnames-branded options. Business and reseller customers can receive volume discounts for larger certificate orders.
