TierraNet is a long-running U.S. hosting, domain registration and SSL provider based in San Diego, California. The company began in 1996, placed its first server online in late December 1996, and incorporated on January 14, 1997. The business started with four college friends building their own hosting operation, then expanded into domain registration through DomainDiscover in 1999. Since 2021, TierraNet has operated under the ClearHello parent company.

The company is best understood as a practical SMB-oriented provider rather than a large cloud-infrastructure platform. Its service range includes Domains, Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, VPS Hosting, Email Hosting, SSL Certificates, DNS management, domain transfers, WHOIS lookup, single-page website publishing, URL/frame forwarding, and domain privacy-related services. Dedicated hosting and reseller hosting are not visible as active mainstream product lines, although dedicated services still appear in hosting-related terms.
