TELE3 is a Czech domain registrar, hosting provider and telecommunications company based in Prague. The business began in 2005 under the name HOSTING4U s.r.o., following almost five years of cooperation among several professionals working in internet services and telecommunications. The company adopted the TELE3 s.r.o. name in 2008.

Its history is closely connected with the development of the Czech domain and hosting market. TELE3 became an accredited .CZ registrar in 2008, introduced commercial IPv6 and DNSSEC services in 2009 and entered the group of ten largest Czech registrars in 2010. By 2013, the company was operating more than 200 physical servers. Its distributed SEO-hosting platform passed 50 servers in 2015, while continued VPS growth expanded its infrastructure into more than ten telehouse locations by 2017.

The domain service covers new registrations, transfers, renewals, registry-contact management, nameserver changes, DNS administration, DNSSEC and bulk portfolio operations. Customers can manage many domain extensions from the same account, while agencies and larger portfolio owners can use an XML API for automated registrations, renewals, transfers and DNS changes. API access is secured through authorized IPv4 or IPv6 source addresses.

A prepaid credit system simplifies frequent domain transactions and can also be used for hosting, servers and invoices. It supports immediate domain registration, renewal for periods of up to ten years, automatic renewal and detailed transaction exports. Volume pricing is available for customers managing larger domain portfolios.

The secure domain-sale service uses fixed transaction charges instead of taking a percentage of the sale value. TELE3 also provides dedicated tools for domain investors, including bulk .CZ transfers, online holder changes, multiple customer accounts under one login and negotiated pricing for larger portfolios.

The shared hosting range is more flexible than a conventional collection of fixed packages. Custom Linux hosting starts at 10 CZK per month and allows customers to combine web space, mailboxes and MySQL databases according to actual requirements. Resources can later be increased or reduced without changing to a completely different hosting package.

The hosting environment supports selectable PHP versions from 5.6 through 8.4, MariaDB/MySQL, phpMyAdmin, .htaccess, URL rewriting, HTTP/2, CURL, SOAP, PHP IMAP, BC Math, AWStats, IPv4, IPv6 and automatic Let’s Encrypt certificates. Paid hosting includes mailboxes with POP3, IMAP, SMTP, webmail, DKIM, antivirus and antispam protection.

Free hosting provides 33 MB of web space, PHP, .htaccess, AWStats, automatic Let’s Encrypt SSL, IPv4, IPv6, DNS management and email forwarding without inserted advertising. It does not include a MySQL database or physical mailbox, and the expected monthly traffic is approximately 2 GB. The domain must remain under TELE3’s technical management and use TELE3 nameservers.

WP3 WordPress hosting is divided into three compact plans with 333 MB, 666 MB or 2 GB of NVMe storage. Depending on the selected package, customers receive MySQL capacity and as many as five 2 GB mailboxes. All WP3 configurations include a 512 MB PHP memory limit, IPv4 and IPv6, Let’s Encrypt SSL, Fail2Ban protection, malware scanning, AWStats and 14 days of FTP and database backup history. One restoration per month is included without an additional charge.

WP3 is intended specifically for WordPress. Assistance covers the hosting platform rather than themes, plugins or WordPress application configuration, making it more suitable for customers who can maintain the CMS themselves.

Multihosting allows an unlimited number of domains and subdomains to share one purchased allocation of FTP space, databases and mailboxes. Each website can receive a separate FTP allocation, while mailboxes, aliases, redirects and MySQL databases can be divided among projects. The service is useful for web designers, agencies and customers managing numerous small or medium websites.

The distinctive SEO hosting option extends Multihosting with servers distributed across different cities, networks, IP ranges and operating systems. Customers can assign individual websites to specific locations and network ranges. It is an infrastructure service for microsites and supporting projects rather than an SEO consulting or optimization package.

SEO hosting is available to customers with at least 20 domains in their TELE3 account and an active credit balance. The platform supports IPv4, IPv6, .htaccess and MySQL, although it is not intended for heavily loaded applications or Drupal and Joomla installations.

Additional hosting services include FTP hosting, encrypted FTPS/TLS storage, Synology NAS rental, DNS hosting, redirects, CRON tasks, SSL certificates and domain operation without the "www" hostname. CRON jobs can run as frequently as every five minutes.

Free DNS hosting supports A, AAAA, MX, CNAME, TXT, TLSA, CAA, SSHFP and SRV records, together with DNSSEC, DANE, SPF and DKIM configurations. DNS profiles make it easier to reuse standard configurations across many domains, while bulk modifications can be completed through a single authenticated request.

FTP hosting is available as an inexpensive standalone storage service with RAID-1 and encrypted connections. Customers needing greater control can rent a complete Synology NAS with web administration, SSH access, configurable RAID and optional web, mail and media applications.

The infrastructure range includes KVM VPS, managed web servers, managed mail servers, managed DNS servers, media servers, dedicated server rental, colocation, monitoring, backup and system administration. VPS resources can be assembled from CPU, RAM and storage, with a maximum shared CPU aggregation ratio of 1:2 or fully dedicated CPU capacity when required. RAM is assigned as a dedicated resource.

Managed web VPS installations support multiple domains, selectable PHP versions, Let’s Encrypt SSL, static IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and resource graphs. Managed mail VPS installations use MailCow together with Roundcube and SOGo, POP3, IMAP, SMTP, DKIM, spam protection and tools for importing mailboxes from another server. Managed DNS VPS configurations can be distributed across separate geographic locations.

Dedicated server rental remains available for custom requirements. Customers can use their own operating-system licenses or complete the installation remotely through KVM over IP. Colocation packages cover rack servers from 1U through 4U and include a gigabit port, IP addresses, remote restart assistance, monitoring options and temporary KVM access.

The storefront, customer administration and technical documentation are in Czech, while prices are denominated in CZK. The website uses an older, narrow desktop design and is less comfortable on small screens than a modern responsive hosting storefront. The amount of technical information is nevertheless substantial, and experienced users can obtain unusually detailed specifications before ordering.
