Its background is connected with the original founders of Tsohost and Vidahost, two hosting businesses launched in 2003 and later acquired by GoDaddy. The team subsequently joined Sal Patel of Speedydot Hosting (speedydot.com) to create a new hosting platform centered on automation, international cloud infrastructure and continuous technical support.

The legal operator is hosting.com UK Services Ltd, trading as Stablepoint under company number 14644356. Stablepoint now forms part of the wider hosting.com group, formerly known as World Host Group. Sebastian de Lemos serves as CEO, while David Spellenberg serves as CFO. The business is headquartered in London and operates with the additional organizational and technical resources of the larger hosting.com group.

Stablepoint expanded through the integration of several smaller hosting companies. Hostica (hostica.com) joined the Stablepoint family in March 2021, with its customers fully transferred to Stablepoint in April 2022. Stablepoint handles operating-system configuration, security updates, monitoring, backups and migrations. These servers can host multiple independent accounts and websites within the allocated CPU, memory and storage limits.

Managed servers support free SSL certificates, SSH access, Redis or Memcached, optional LiteSpeed and customized environments for WordPress, Laravel and other Linux applications. Customers receive private server resources without having to perform everyday Linux administration themselves.

Managed Magento Servers are intended for ecommerce stores that have outgrown ordinary shared hosting. They include server management, Elasticsearch for Magento 2.4, caching, backups, SSL certificates and cPanel. Entry configurations have started at approximately £89 per month, with the final cost depending on the selected resources and software requirements.

The Domain Registration service covers more than 750 domain extensions, with registrations starting from €5.99 per year. Domain management includes DNS administration, forwarding, bulk management, unrestricted transfer-out controls and free WHOIS privacy for extensions that support it. Domains remain registered under the customer’s ownership rather than under Stablepoint.
