Space Iran was an Iranian web hosting provider focused mainly on the local Persian-speaking market. The company had been active since 2011, building its services around Linux hosting, domain registration, VPS, dedicated servers, SSL certificates, software licenses, server management and download hosting.By 2026, spaceiran.com had become an inactive or region-restricted hosting company, no longer reachable as a normal international web hosting provider from outside Iran. The brand remained associated with the domains spaceiran.com, spaceiran.net and spaceiran.ir, but its practical availability was limited, especially for non-Iranian visitors.
Their strongest service was Linux Shared Hosting, sold as "Special Hosting". These plans used NVMe SSD storage, LiteSpeed web server, CloudLinux, DirectAdmin, selectable PHP versions, MySQL, FTP, email accounts, free SSL, cron jobs, firewall, antivirus, anti-shell protection and CXS scanning. The environment was well suited for Persian websites, small business pages, WordPress projects, Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop and other CMS-based websites.
A separate Download Hosting line targeted file storage, backup archives, upload centers and download portals. This was not a full replacement for standard web hosting, because database and email functions were restricted, but it gave customers FTP/file-manager access, PHP/HTML support and large storage or bandwidth allocations.
Their VPS services were branded as Platinum virtual servers, with KVM virtualization, dedicated resources, NVMe storage, 1 Gbit/s port, root or administrator access, VNC, instant deployment and operating system reinstall options. These plans were aimed at users who needed more control than shared hosting, including both Linux and Windows environments.
For dedicated servers, Space Iran used European locations, especially Germany and Finland. The German dedicated server line relied on Hetzner infrastructure, with EX and AX server options, 1 Gbit/s ports and monthly bandwidth allocations. This made the European servers useful for Iranian customers who wanted stronger international connectivity while still buying through a local Persian-language provider.
