📄 Editorial Review

SoftSys Hosting is a privately held U.S. hosting and managed cloud provider founded in 2006 by Ruchir Shastri. The company has developed from traditional web hosting into a broader infrastructure provider covering shared hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, managed cloud, business email, backup, DNS, security and public-cloud management.

The hosting range covers both Windows and Linux environments. Windows Shared Hosting is built around Windows Server, IIS and Plesk, with support for ASP.NET, .NET, PHP, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and MariaDB. Linux hosting uses CloudLinux, cPanel/WHM, LiteSpeed Enterprise, LSCache and Imunify360. Free SSL, migration assistance, security protection and backup options are available with the relevant services.

WordPress Hosting is based on a Linux environment optimized for WordPress, with LiteSpeed, CloudLinux isolation, caching, malware protection, backups and migration assistance. nopCommerce Hosting targets Microsoft-based ecommerce installations and combines Windows hosting, Plesk, ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.

Reseller Hosting is available for both Windows and Linux customers, with reseller management, private nameservers and white-label functionality. The VPS portfolio includes Windows VPS, Linux VPS, Managed VPS and Replicated VPS, with administrative access and optional management depending on the selected service. Managed VPS plans add server administration, monitoring, patching, security and backup services.

Dedicated Servers are offered in Windows and Linux configurations, with managed and self-managed options. Customers can select different processors, memory, storage, RAID and bandwidth configurations. Managed dedicated servers include administration, monitoring, security hardening, backups and operating-system maintenance.

The cloud portfolio extends beyond SoftSys infrastructure through AWS and Microsoft Azure management. Services include cloud migration, architecture, monitoring, security, optimization, backup, disaster recovery and ongoing infrastructure administration. This gives businesses the option of keeping conventional hosting, VPS or dedicated infrastructure while also using managed public-cloud environments.

Additional services include Managed DNS, Business Email, Microsoft 365, Acronis Backup, SSL certificates, firewall and IDS/IPS services and DDoS protection. Business email is based on SmarterMail Enterprise, while managed DNS provides Anycast DNS functionality.

The company operates primarily in English, with prices generally shown in USD. The product range is broad enough to cover individual websites, agencies, ecommerce projects, software applications and business infrastructure. The website combines newer cloud services with some older product terminology, so customers ordering a server should check the exact operating system, management level, hardware configuration and location attached to the selected service.
