Simafri is an international hosting and managed IT provider founded in 2012. Simon Lee founded the business after working with websites and online services for many years, with his web-development activity dating back to 2002. The Simafri trade name is currently operated by Sels de Rehy, LLC, a Delaware company in the United States, while the wider operation also maintains a presence in the Czech Republic and Madagascar. Customers are served across dozens of countries.

The company has developed considerably beyond conventional website hosting. Its portfolio combines Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Email Hosting, Storage Hosting, VPS, Managed VPS, Domains, SSL certificates, managed website creation, ERP software, custom business applications, cybersecurity, IT fleet management, private cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The international operation concentrates heavily on VPS and managed business services, while regional markets such as Madagascar and the Czech Republic also maintain a more traditional shared-hosting range.

Shared Hosting is available in several configurations. The Madagascar range includes Perso, Pro and Premium packages using enterprise SSD storage together with SSL, automatic backups, SSH, CRON, PHP, Node.js, Python, Perl, WAF protection, anti-DDoS filtering, antivirus and antispam protection. Perso allows two hosted domains, 50 email accounts and five databases. Pro adds unlimited multidomain hosting, 200 mailboxes and 50 databases, while Premium includes unlimited hosted domains, mailboxes and databases. Pro and Premium customers also receive priority support.

WordPress users receive useful management features such as plugin administration, website cloning, staging and one-click access. The environment can also accommodate applications including PrestaShop, Magento, Joomla and Drupal.

Shared hosting operates under fair-use rules. Unlimited plans are designed for website operation rather than general file storage or large-scale backup use, and email storage is also subject to resource limits. Customers requiring large amounts of dedicated storage can use the separate storage-hosting service instead.

Storage Hosting provides fixed disk capacities ranging from 5 GB to 250 GB while retaining common hosting functions including domains, databases, FTP accounts, email, SSL, antivirus and antispam protection. Professional email hosting is also available independently, using Roundcube webmail together with TLS, SPF, DKIM and DMARC, spam filtering and geographically remote backups.

The VPS Pro family is designed primarily for Linux workloads requiring root access. Servers use Intel Xeon processors, ECC memory and mirrored datacenter-grade NVMe storage. Root and SSH access, HTTPS certificate management, anti-DDoS protection, continuous monitoring and a complete encrypted nightly backup are included. Backups are stored separately from the VPS and retained for seven days.

One of the more distinctive features is Full-Stack Assistance. Support can extend beyond the operating system into databases, software dependencies, configuration problems and application-level diagnostics. Customers can implement the recommended changes themselves or purchase direct engineering work when they prefer Simafri engineers to perform the intervention.

Six VPS Pro configurations are available, starting with 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 20 GB NVMe storage and extending to 8 vCPU, 24 GB RAM and 400 GB NVMe. This provides enough range for smaller production websites, development environments, APIs, databases and more demanding applications.

VPS Ultra provides a complete KVM virtual machine with its own kernel, guaranteed RAM and dedicated IPv4 connectivity. Linux and Windows Server can be used, although Windows licensing is charged separately. Direct outbound email can be enabled after customer verification. VPS Ultra also includes mirrored NVMe storage, anti-DDoS protection, monitoring, encrypted nightly backups and Full-Stack Assistance.

Businesses that do not want to administer their own server can use Managed VPS. Simafri handles operating-system and security updates, continuous monitoring, application supervision, restores and engineering work. Website, database and mailbox migrations can also be handled during deployment. Managed configurations are tailored to the application instead of relying only on fixed public server packages.

Serenity by Simafri combines website creation and managed hosting. Simafri builds the website, hosts it, secures it and handles ongoing maintenance and content changes. SSL, a .com, .net or .org domain registered in the customer's name, professional email through Simafri Suite, backups and two rounds of design adjustments are included. Websites are optimized for desktop, tablet and mobile use. Special versions are also available for publishers, newspapers and eligible nonprofit organizations.

Simafri Suite combines professional email, calendars, contacts and online file storage. Pricing is based mainly on shared storage rather than individual user accounts, allowing companies to create unlimited users within the purchased capacity. Plans range from 10 GB to 100 GB, with additional storage available in 50 GB increments. Calendar and contact synchronization works with desktop and mobile devices, while file storage can integrate with Windows Explorer, macOS Finder and the iOS Files application.

Simafri ERP covers quotations, invoices, credit notes, customers, suppliers, purchasing, banking, inventory, payment reminders and accounting exports. Pricing is per company rather than per user, and unlimited user accounts can be created.

Pléiade covers custom software projects such as reservation systems, customer portals, order tracking, membership platforms and business-specific applications. Simafri can handle development as well as subsequent hosting, updates, backups and technical maintenance.

Cybersecurity has become another significant part of the business. Services include managed cybersecurity, security auditing and IT fleet management, covering areas such as endpoint management, system patching, authentication, email security, backup and incident handling. The Madagascar operation also includes private cloud, servers installed at customer premises, file servers, disaster recovery, VPN connectivity and outsourced IT administration.

For physical and private infrastructure requirements, Simafri also works with tailored server, private-cloud and managed-infrastructure configurations rather than restricting customers to standardized hosting packages.
