Server.ir is a long-established Iranian hosting and cloud infrastructure provider founded in 2014 by Saeed Khosravi, who remains Founder and CEO. The business began around the end of the Iranian year 1392 with development around domains and web hosting, later expanding into VPS, dedicated servers, cloud infrastructure and other Internet services. In autumn 1399 (2020), Server.ir moved into an independent corporate structure under Tadbirpardazan. The company has grown to an organization with roughly 11–50 employees and serves a substantial domestic customer base, with more than 90,000 members, 70,000 hosting services, 195,000 answered support tickets and 70+ active data center locations across its infrastructure portfolio.

Server.ir is considerably broader than a conventional shared-hosting company. Its portfolio includes Linux Hosting, Windows Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Laravel Hosting, Download Hosting, Free Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Iran VPS, Foreign VPS, CPU-Optimized VPS, MikroTik VPS, Trading VPS, n8n VPS, Cloud Servers, Hourly Servers, Dedicated Servers, GPU Servers, Colocation, Domains, SSL certificates, Storage, GeoDNS, software licenses, Docker Registry access and anti-sanctions DNS services. Customers can therefore keep domestic workloads close to Iranian users while also maintaining services in foreign data centers when an international IP address or geographically distributed infrastructure is required.

The operation is strongly focused on the Iranian market. The customer environment is in Persian, prices are quoted in Iranian toman, and no equivalent English-language customer interface exists. Account verification can involve an Iranian national identification number, telephone number associated with that identity, email address, postal code and an address in Iran. Server.ir is consequently much more practical for Iranian individuals and businesses than for a typical overseas customer.

Shared hosting is one of the most complete parts of the portfolio. Locations include Iran, Germany and the Netherlands, with separate Linux, WordPress, Laravel and Windows products. Linux hosting covers ordinary websites and applications, while WordPress plans provide higher resource allocations suited to CMS workloads. Laravel hosting is intended for developers requiring framework-oriented hosting and terminal access rather than a basic website account.

Linux, WordPress and Laravel accounts use cPanel with LiteSpeed. The environment also includes CloudLinux, CageFS account isolation, Imunify360 security, Redis caching, free SSL, periodic backups and JetBackup restoration. Storage uses SSD on domestic infrastructure and NVMe on many foreign configurations. Traffic is generally unlimited on this shared-hosting range, while WordPress can be provisioned ready for use. Hosting upgrades can also be applied without deleting account data.

Customers choosing three-, six- or twelve-month shared-hosting periods can receive a free .ir domain. This is particularly useful for local websites where both the hosting and national domain can be managed from the same customer account.

Windows Hosting follows a separate Microsoft-oriented platform based on Plesk and IIS. It is therefore suited to customers requiring Windows technologies rather than trying to accommodate them inside the Linux hosting platform.

Reseller Hosting uses a conventional cPanel/WHM model and allows resellers to create individual hosting accounts for their own customers. White-label operation is supported, making it suitable for web designers, agencies and smaller hosting businesses that do not want to build their own server infrastructure. Iranian and foreign hosting locations are available depending on the reseller package.

The Iran VPS range is extensive and includes both standard virtual machines and CPU-optimized configurations. Locations include Pars Online, Pardis, Afranet, Asiatech, Tabriz and Shiraz. Configurations extend from small systems for lightweight applications to much larger virtual servers with dozens of CPU cores, as much as 80 GB RAM and storage allocations reaching approximately 1 TB on higher-end packages.

Console access is available on appropriate VPS plans, and operating systems can be installed or rebuilt as required. Linux and Windows environments are both supported. Traffic policy varies significantly between Iranian data centers; some packages provide unlimited upload with a defined monthly download allocation, while others bill traffic according to consumption. This difference makes the exact data center and package specification important when comparing apparently similar Iran VPS plans.

CPU-optimized VPS products provide stronger or more tightly allocated processor resources for workloads such as databases, compilation, automation, high-traffic applications and other processing-intensive services.

Foreign VPS expands coverage to numerous international locations including Germany, Finland, France, the United States, Turkey and additional markets. Hetzner infrastructure forms an important part of the international inventory and combines NVMe storage, IPv6 support, console access, firewall functionality and high-capacity network connectivity. Traffic allowances depend on the platform, with some Hetzner configurations providing monthly allocations reaching 20 TB rather than unrestricted transfer.

Several VPS lines are tailored to specific use cases. Trading VPS provides a fixed foreign IP for trading platforms and Internet services that may not work reliably from Iranian IP addresses. Separate Iran stock-market VPS products concentrate on low latency to domestic financial services.

MikroTik VPS provides an environment for RouterOS networking workloads, while n8n VPS targets workflow automation and application integration. These specialist offerings make the virtual-server portfolio considerably more diverse than a simple collection of generic Linux VPS plans.

The Cloud Server platform provides a more flexible provisioning model with periods ranging from hourly use to longer subscriptions. Iranian and foreign capacity can be managed through a common cloud interface, with locations including Iran, Germany, Turkey, the United Kingdom, UAE, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, France, India and Hong Kong depending on current capacity.

Cloud functions include firewall management, console access, static IP addressing, operating-system deployment, application deployment and server rebuilding. Managed-server assistance is also available for customers who do not want full responsibility for operating-system administration.

Dedicated Servers are available both inside Iran and internationally. Iranian dedicated machines use hardware owned by Server.ir and installed in domestic data center facilities. This gives Server.ir direct responsibility for the physical server equipment and its hardware maintenance rather than relying entirely on rented foreign machines.

International dedicated servers extend across several European locations. Hetzner infrastructure is available in Germany and Finland, while Greenhouse Data Centers contributes capacity in the Netherlands. Additional systems are available in France and other Dutch facilities.

Dedicated-server hardware ranges from inexpensive Atom-based systems through modern Intel Core and Xeon machines to dual-Xeon and AMD EPYC-class configurations. SSD, NVMe and HDD storage combinations are available, including multiple-drive systems. Network ports are typically 1 Gbps, while selected configurations can be upgraded toward 10 Gbps. Some French and Dutch dedicated servers also include separate backup storage.

Customers receive root-level administrative access and can deploy Linux, Windows, Proxmox and ESXi on suitable hardware. Physical failures and underlying server hardware are handled at the infrastructure level, while applications, databases and operating-system configuration normally remain the customer's responsibility unless management is purchased separately.

GPU Servers extend the dedicated-server range toward artificial intelligence, machine learning, rendering, scientific computing and other workloads that benefit from accelerator hardware. They are particularly suitable for customers requiring complete control of a GPU-equipped system rather than shared cloud processing.

Colocation is available for customers who already own rack-mount equipment. Server.ir maintains rack infrastructure in the Poonak and Pardis facilities, with power, cooling, connectivity, monitoring, physical security and dedicated IP addressing. Remote console functionality is available, and technicians can perform tasks such as operating-system or hypervisor installation.

Customers do not normally enter the data center directly. Physical intervention is carried out by Server.ir technicians, while replacement components for customer-owned hardware remain the customer's responsibility. Additional IP addresses can also be requested, with larger allocations subject to technical approval.

Domain services cover Iranian and international extensions and include registration, transfer, renewal, DNS management, nameserver administration, registrar locking, EPP transfers, WHOIS privacy where supported, premium domains, reseller services and a domain marketplace. Hundreds of extensions can be handled from the same account.

Successful domain registrations, transfers and renewals are final transactions because registry charges cannot normally be recovered once the operation has completed.

The wider service portfolio also includes international and national SSL certificates, FTP-accessible storage and backup space, GeoDNS, software and control-panel licensing, Docker Registry access and encrypted anti-sanctions DNS. GeoDNS is particularly useful for services that need to manage domestic and international routing conditions, while anti-sanctions DNS provides an alternative way to reach Internet services that restrict Iranian IP addresses.

Customer data and server credentials are handled with an emphasis on account confidentiality. Technical staff do not normally enter a customer's server without a support request. When privileged credentials have been changed, temporary or confidential access information can be supplied through the ticketing system for the required technical work.
