*📜 Plan description
GPU Line is intended for machine-learning training, LLM inference, analytics, 3D modeling and rendering workloads. The listed starting price is 21999.36 RUB per month with VAT included. The available GPU family includes NVIDIA Tesla T4, A100, A2, A30, A2000, A5000, GTX 1080, RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 4090 and A6000 Ada options. This makes the line more suitable for AI, HPC, rendering and data-processing tasks than for ordinary web hosting. The exact server price depends on the selected GPU, the number of vCPU cores, RAM, local or network disk capacity and any additional resources. GPU resources are also affected by hourly billing and the Freeze function can reduce cost when compute resources are not actively used.
The cloud server service is designed for virtual machines with consumption-based billing and deployment readiness in less than one minute. Resources can be scaled when the load changes, and a server configuration can be changed in about 2-3 minutes. Available operating system images include Ubuntu, Debian, Windows, Fedora CoreOS, CentOS, SelectOS, Astra Linux, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Fedora and Oracle; a custom image can also be uploaded if the standard images are not suitable. Servers use modern Intel and AMD processors with productive RAM. The network package includes 3 TB of outgoing traffic per month at no additional charge, L3/L4 DDoS protection included in the service, private and public networking, and channel throughput from 3 Gbit/s in most pools with the possibility to increase capacity up to 10 Gbit/s by request. Management is available through the Selectel control panel, API and Terraform. Storage options include local disks with latency up to 1 ms, network HDD, network SSD, snapshots and scheduled backups. Network disks are built for stable operation regardless of volume and use triple replication, while the backup service can protect disk data separately from the server. The platform is placed in Tier III data centers in Russia and is positioned for projects that need compliance with Russian data-protection requirements, PCI DSS and ISO security standards. Billing is hourly even though the public price is presented per month; if a server is stopped or suspended, vCPU, RAM, disks, GPU resources, public IP addresses and public subnets continue to be charged, while the Freeze function can stop charging for vCPU, RAM and GPU.

📄 Editorial Review
Selectel is one of Russia’s major IT infrastructure providers, operated by JSC Selectel and active since 2008. The company is much closer to a cloud, bare-metal, and data-center infrastructure provider than to a traditional shared hosting company. Their strongest fit is for developers, SaaS companies, online media, e-commerce projects, AI/ML workloads, government-related systems, fintech, gaming, enterprise IT teams, and businesses that need Russian data-center placement with a broad technical product catalog.Selectel works with more than 33,000 customers, has 17+ years of operating history, and covers more than 50 infrastructure products. Their portfolio includes Cloud Servers, VPS/VDS, Dedicated Servers, GPU Servers, custom bare-metal servers, colocation, rack rental, server-room / isolated-zone services, Managed Kubernetes, Managed Kubernetes on Bare Metal, private cloud, public cloud on VMware, VMware Horizon VDI, DRaaS, S3 object storage, S3 Vault, file storage, cloud backups, Veeam backups, Ceph-as-a-Service, Managed Databases, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, OpenSearch, CDN, Direct Connect, Global Router, load balancers, DDoS protection, WAF, firewalls, GOST-VPN, IPS/IDS, SSL certificates, DNS hosting, Private DNS, .RU and .RF domains, mail service, monitoring, logs, IAM, audit logs, system administration, DevOps as a Service, migration services, and additional managed infrastructure services.
This is not a provider for customers looking mainly for low-cost cPanel shared hosting. Selectel’s catalog is built around infrastructure control, automation, data-center-grade reliability, and scalable services. Customers can rent a small VPS, deploy production cloud servers, build Kubernetes clusters, run GPU workloads, place their own servers in a data center, or design a hybrid architecture using dedicated servers, cloud services, private networking, storage, and managed databases.
Their AI and machine-learning lineup is especially strong for a hosting provider. It includes GPU servers, H100 / H200 / B300-class infrastructure, GPU servers deployed on customer premises, Data Science Virtual Machine, AI/ML consulting, foundation-model related services, and Kubernetes options for machine-learning workloads. This gives Selectel a much broader technical profile than ordinary VPS or dedicated-server companies.
The company website is available in Russian and English, and the technical documentation is also available in Russian and English. The Russian version is more complete, especially for detailed product pages and operational information. Pricing is primarily shown in Russian rubles (RUB), and several product calculators include 22% VAT.
A notable corporate development happened in December 2025, when the Interros and T-Technologies joint venture Catalytic People acquired a 25% stake in Selectel. This reinforced Selectel’s position as an important Russian cloud and data-center company, rather than a small retail hosting brand.
