RuWeb is a long-established Russian hosting provider with roots dating to 2002, although one historical company reference uses 2003. The present operating company, LLC RUWEB, was registered in Moscow on June 1, 2015. Elena Sergeevna Veretelnikova serves as general director, while Roman Sergeevich Veretelnikov is the registered owner.

The company offers shared hosting, CMS hosting, VIP hosting, reseller hosting, KVM virtual servers, dedicated servers, domain registration, remote backup storage, DDoS protection, software licenses and paid server administration. Its portfolio covers both entry-level websites and more demanding business projects requiring dedicated resources or full root access.

Standard shared hosting is divided into five main packages with 5 GB to 80 GB of storage, support for one to 40 hosted domains, MySQL databases, FTP accounts and unmetered traffic. Customers can select PHP versions ranging from older 5.x releases to modern 8.x branches. Softaculous provides automated installation for more than 400 applications, while free automatically renewed Let's Encrypt certificates are included.

CMS hosting is optimized for popular platforms such as WordPress, 1C-Bitrix and UMI.CMS. RuWeb also maintains dedicated service options for WordPress, PHP/MySQL websites, online stores, inexpensive hosting and unlimited-style hosting. These packages are closely related to the standard shared environment but provide configurations and recommendations suited to particular types of websites.

VIP hosting provides higher CPU allocations and more generous server resources for busy online stores, portals, blogs and corporate websites. The range begins with compact 5 GB plans and extends to a server-level package with 350 GB of storage, unrestricted domains, unrestricted databases, unrestricted FTP accounts and five dedicated IPv4 addresses. Regular VIP packages can include a dedicated IP address without an additional monthly charge when requested.

Reseller hosting is available through both account-limited and traffic-limited packages. Customers can create and manage separate hosting accounts, use overselling, benefit from daily backups and receive dedicated IPv4 addresses with selected plans. The reseller structure is flexible, although some of the smallest packages provide relatively modest disk allocations.

Virtual servers use KVM virtualization and are available with SSD storage in Moscow and Amsterdam, together with high-capacity HDD configurations in Moscow. Supported operating-system templates include AlmaLinux, Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS Stream, FreeBSD, Windows 11 and MikroTik CHR. FastPanel and VMBitrix templates are also available, and experienced users can install their own operating system.

RuWeb maintains specialized VPS configurations for Windows, Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, FreeBSD, VPN projects, MikroTik, bots, FastPanel and 1C-Bitrix. These options use the same underlying KVM infrastructure but simplify the selection process for customers with a particular application in mind. Windows servers require a realistic memory allocation, with 4 GB representing a practical starting point for normal operation.

Dedicated servers are located in Moscow and include unmetered traffic, one IPv4 address, operating-system installation and basic DDoS filtering. Ready-to-use configurations are available alongside customized servers. Hardware inventory and final pricing can change quickly, especially for systems using large amounts of memory.

Additional services include FTP and SFTP backup storage, paid server administration and isolated DDoS protection. Basic Layer 3 and Layer 4 filtering is included with hosting services. Advanced protection is delivered through DDoS-GUARD, with optional protected IP addresses and application-layer filtering for websites requiring stronger mitigation.

Shared hosting accounts without a dedicated IP can also receive Layer 7 protection on request. More demanding projects can order dedicated clean-traffic capacity, protected addresses and customized filtering.

Domain registration covers Russian and international extensions. Domains are registered in the customer's name, and separate registrar access credentials can be supplied. Qualifying hosting purchases may include free registration or renewal of a .RU or .РФ domain.

The website and customer-facing documentation are primarily available in Russian, while prices are shown in Russian rubles (RUB). The interface remains functional but has a traditional, text-heavy design compared with newer cloud platforms. Several legacy prices, trial amounts and historical dates remain in different areas, so the final order summary inside the customer account is the most reliable reference before payment.

Registry information for LLC RUWEB records a small average employee count and approximately RUB 28.8 million in revenue for 2025. These figures apply to the registered legal entity and may not include external contractors or affiliated personnel.
