Prosite is a German web hosting and domain provider operated by Speedbone Internet & Connectivity GmbH in Berlin. The company behind Prosite was established in 2002, following several years of earlier activity as a sole proprietorship, and has a long history in hosting, networking and data-center services in Germany.

The current Prosite portfolio focuses on Shared Hosting / Webspace, Email Hosting and Domains. Its hosting range is aimed mainly at personal websites, small businesses, developers and customers who need relatively modest hosting resources without unnecessary complexity. VPS and dedicated-server products are handled separately through the broader Speedbone operation rather than through the Prosite Webspace range.

The smallest Mail Domain package combines 1 GB SSD storage with unlimited mailboxes, 1 GB storage per mailbox, domain assignment, free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates and DDoS protection. It is suitable primarily for customers who need domain-based email rather than a larger website-hosting environment.

The regular Webspace line starts with Webspace S, which includes 1 GB SSD storage, one database, one assignable domain and a 128 MB PHP memory limit. Webspace L increases the resources to 10 GB SSD storage, ten databases and two domains. Webspace XL includes 20 GB SSD storage, 20 databases, five domains and a 256 MB PHP memory limit, while Webspace XXL reaches 50 GB SSD storage, 50 databases, ten domains and a 512 MB PHP memory limit.

The hosting environment includes WordPress, a website builder, Laravel, Node.js, Composer and Git, making the larger plans useful for both conventional CMS websites and more development-oriented projects. More than 140 website templates are also included with the standard Webspace packages.

Unlimited mailbox creation is included, although storage available to each mailbox depends on the selected plan. Free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates and DDoS protection are included throughout the current Webspace range.

Domain registration and domain transfers are integrated into the same customer system. Eligible transferred domains receive a one-year extension, depending on the individual TLD rules and whether the domain has recently been renewed.

The customer interface supports a particularly broad range of languages. German and English are available together with Arabic, Azerbaijani, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Persian, French, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian. Prices are offered in EUR.

The website and client interface have a traditional hosting-provider design rather than the highly visual presentation common among newer hosting brands. The emphasis remains on practical account management, ordering, billing, support, knowledge-base access and server-status information.
