Primcast is a privately held hosting and infrastructure company founded in 2004 in New York. Its main U.S. operation is managed by Primcast LLC from Long Island City, while Primcast Europe SRL has operated from Bucharest since 2016. The business started with streaming services and gradually expanded into dedicated servers, bare-metal infrastructure, GPU systems, AI hosting, high-bandwidth servers and video-delivery services.

Primcast has more than two decades of experience in infrastructure and streaming. Its oldest customer relationships date back to 2005, while radio hosting became part of the service portfolio in 2009. Primcast Europe SRL is registered in Romania as J40/11011/2016 with VAT number RO36436303 and handles part of the European infrastructure and billing.

The main service today is Dedicated Hosting / Bare Metal Cloud. These are complete physical servers dedicated to one customer rather than shared VPS instances. Customers receive all processor cores, RAM, local disks and root-level access, together with an out-of-band management interface where supported. The server range includes Instant Dedicated Servers, Custom Servers, Value Servers, Budget Servers, Dedicated Server Rental, high-transfer servers, storage servers, database servers, dedicated web-hosting systems and high-bandwidth infrastructure up to 100 Gbps.

Ready-to-use systems are already installed in the rack and can normally become available in around 30 minutes after payment approval. Hardware ranges from inexpensive older enterprise platforms through considerably more powerful multi-core systems. HPE equipment has a strong presence in the fleet, alongside Dell and Supermicro platforms. Storage options include SATA SSD, NVMe and SAS, with hardware or software RAID depending on the configuration.

Customers receive one IPv4 address with many server configurations, while IPv6 is available without an additional charge. Extra IPv4 addresses start at approximately $6 per month on many plans. Operating systems can be reinstalled without an installation fee, making it practical to repurpose a server or recover from a damaged system. Around 33 operating-system images are available, with most offered at no additional cost. Choices include Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Windows Server, Proxmox VE and VMware vSphere Hypervisor on compatible systems.

GPU & AI hosting has become an important part of the portfolio. Dedicated GPU servers use NVIDIA and AMD accelerators for artificial intelligence, machine learning, private LLM inference, rendering, VDI, HPC and video processing. Primcast also provides LLM hosting, multi-GPU and multi-node HPC systems, NVIDIA DGX Spark, Ryzen AI hardware and GPU transcoding servers.

The LLM systems can run environments such as vLLM, llama.cpp, TGI, SGLang and Ollama. Private models, prompts and datasets remain on dedicated infrastructure rather than being submitted to a third-party per-token API. This makes the service useful for companies that need predictable compute costs or greater control over confidential AI workloads.

NVIDIA DGX Spark systems are available from New York with 128 GB of coherent shared memory and DGX OS. Ryzen AI systems provide a lower-cost route for smaller quantized models, embeddings, assistants and lighter inference workloads where a full data-center GPU is unnecessary.

The GPU Marketplace expands the service in another direction. Owners of suitable GPU servers and workstations can make their systems available for monthly rental after hardware validation and testing. Custom GPU builds are generally provisioned within approximately 24 to 72 hours when the required hardware is available. Rare or temporarily unavailable accelerators can require considerably longer lead times.

The Unmetered Dedicated Server range is one of Primcast's strongest options for bandwidth-heavy projects. Instead of charging for every transferred terabyte, traffic is based on the capacity of the dedicated network port. Available bandwidth can scale as high as 100 Gbps, making these systems suitable for media distribution, large software repositories, streaming, APIs, backups and other traffic-intensive workloads. BGP sessions and customer-owned IP ranges can also be arranged for suitable deployments.

A significant limitation is the lack of integrated DDoS protection across the service lines. Customers running workloads likely to attract network attacks need a separate protection layer, external scrubbing provider or suitable CDN/reverse-proxy arrangement.

Optional Server Management is available for customers who need assistance beyond physical infrastructure. Standard support covers hardware, networking, routing, IP addresses, management-controller access, operating-system reinstalls and server-access problems. Application administration, database optimization, custom software and third-party configuration remain the customer's responsibility unless management services are arranged separately.

Migration assistance is free and can include migration planning, repeated operating-system rebuilds and assistance during the final cutover. Existing provider-owned IP addresses normally cannot be moved to the new server, so DNS and service endpoints need to be updated as part of the migration.

Streaming remains an important specialization. Radio Hosting supports SHOUTcast and Icecast and includes Centova Cast, AutoDJ functionality, HTTPS streaming and a free station option. AutoDJ provides browser-based media management, playlists and scheduling so a station can continue broadcasting without a permanently connected live source. SSL Radio provides secure HTTPS-compatible playback, while mobile applications can also be arranged for station operators.

Live Video Hosting accepts RTMP input and provides HLS delivery with an embeddable player. Shared video hosting operates from New York and Bucharest. Paid plans use unmetered outbound traffic, while the free service includes a fixed transfer allocation. Larger projects can move from the shared platform to dedicated infrastructure.

The media portfolio also includes Video on Demand, Video CDN, Event Streaming and GPU Transcoding Servers. VOD includes media upload, transcoding, adaptive playback, analytics and API access. Event Streaming is intended for conferences, concerts, corporate events and other temporary broadcasts. GPU transcoding systems are suitable for software such as FFmpeg, Flussonic and Wowza where hardware-assisted video encoding reduces processor load.

Domain registration is a smaller service and currently concentrates mainly on .ro domains. Registration and renewal use the same annual price, while DNS management supports common record types including A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV and CAA. Domains are registered in the customer's name and authorization codes are available for transfers.

Primcast also operates a data-center partnership program that allows infrastructure operators to host Primcast equipment and participate in revenue generated by that hardware.

The website is modern and responsive and supports 11 languages: English, Romanian, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Polish, Greek, Turkish and Chinese. English is fully supported. U.S. services are normally billed in USD, while European services can be billed through Primcast Europe in EUR, with Romanian contractual terms also allowing RON, USD or EUR depending on the payment method.
