The business initially concentrated on shared hosting and shell accounts, expanded into reseller hosting, and made virtual private servers a core service in 2009. Managed VPS and dedicated infrastructure followed as the company’s customer base and network operations grew.

The broader Profuse Solutions organization dates from 1999. PhotonVPS later became the VPS-focused brand within the same group as Psychz Networks, which handles much of the associated physical-server, cloud and network infrastructure. This relationship gives PhotonVPS customers a practical upgrade path from an inexpensive virtual server to larger cloud deployments, high-bandwidth systems and dedicated hardware.

The main product range now consists of Linux cloud VPS, Windows cloud VPS, Forex VPS, continuous data-protection backup services, server-control-panel licenses and reseller accounts.
