Phanes Cloud was a Netherlands-based web hosting brand operated by Phanes Networks B.V. and closely connected to the former Flaunt7 hosting business. Flaunt7 had been active in the hosting market since around 2016, with Vikhyat Singh commonly associated with the founder / CEO role in older company references. The brand later moved under the Phanes Cloud identity, while Flaunt7 itself became inactive for new clients around August 2022.

The independent Phanes Cloud operation later ended as a separate hosting identity. On 15 January 2025, Phanes Networks B.V. transferred its IT service operations, including dedicated servers, Cloud VPS and web hosting, to SpectraIP B.V. This makes Phanes Cloud best understood today as a legacy / inactive hosting brand, with customer-service continuity moved into the SpectraIP ecosystem.

The old portfolio was quite broad for a low-cost hosting provider. It included Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS Hosting, Cloud Servers, Bare Metal Servers, Dedicated Servers, Windows Hosting, Domain Registration and SSL Certificates. The shared hosting line used cPanel + CloudLinux, free SSL certificates, free domain options, NVMe storage, memory and CPU allocations by package, and support for high-traffic account tiers.

Flaunt7 / Phanes Cloud was especially known for Netherlands-based infrastructure and offshore-style hosting policies. The company accepted content that many mainstream hosting companies avoided, including adult-content hosting where legal. Its DMCA policy was one of the biggest reasons some customers selected the brand, although that also placed the provider in a higher-risk hosting category.

The VPS and cloud-server side was one of the more important parts of the business. Plans were built around SSD / NVMe storage, scalable resources, root access, 1 Gbps-style connectivity and customer-side server management. Dedicated servers usually required a setup period of around 24 to 72 hours, with NVMe SSD configurations available and HDD storage present on some server options.

Phanes Cloud also had a multilingual customer portal, with interface languages including English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Romanian, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Chinese and others. That made the service easier to use for international customers, although the infrastructure focus remained strongly connected to the Netherlands.
