OnlyDomains is a New Zealand-founded domain registrar and online-services provider established in 2009. Domains remain the company's main business, supported by Linux shared hosting, WordPress hosting, business email, SSL certificates, website-building tools, DNS management, WHOIS privacy, domain transfers and additional domain-security services.

OnlyDomains became part of CentralNic in December 2015, when the business was acquired in a transaction valued at approximately NZ$35 million. CentralNic subsequently changed its corporate identity to Team Internet Group (teaminternet.com) in 2023, placing OnlyDomains within a considerably larger international domain-registration and online-presence group.

The registrar covers a very broad range of generic and country-code domain extensions. Customers can register new domains, transfer existing registrations, manage DNS records, configure URL forwarding, retrieve EPP/Auth codes, enable automatic renewal and use WHOIS privacy wherever the registry permits it. This makes the service particularly suitable for customers managing domains from several countries or maintaining larger portfolios containing many different extensions.

Domain Protection adds another layer of security around registrations. Essential protection provides registrar locking where supported, two-factor authentication for sensitive operations and a domain registration certificate. Advanced protection is available per domain and extends this with eligible redemption-fee protection, domain health checks, DNSSEC activation and domain-reputation monitoring. Registrar Lock is supported across more than 900 extensions, while WHOIS Privacy covers more than 780 extensions, subject to individual registry rules.

The hosting platform is deliberately straightforward. OnlyDomains concentrates on Linux shared hosting rather than VPS or dedicated-server products. The environment uses the familiar LAMP stack together with cPanel, CloudLinux and Softaculous, making it suitable for WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and other common PHP applications.

The hosting range consists of Kiwi, Kea and Kakapo plans. SSD storage, unmetered traffic and website/email functionality are included, while higher packages increase storage and the number of websites that can be hosted. Customers can also choose between several geographic hosting locations during ordering, which makes the service practical for personal sites, WordPress installations and ordinary small-business websites.

Business Email is powered by Titan (titan.email). The lower mailbox tier includes 10 GB, while the larger option provides 50 GB. The email environment includes webmail, mobile applications, calendars, contacts, aliases, two-factor authentication, spam and malware protection, IMAP/POP access and DKIM. Productivity features on the higher service level include scheduled sending, templates, read receipts and follow-up functionality.

The Website Builder provides an alternative for customers who do not want to manage WordPress or another CMS. Its drag-and-drop interface creates responsive websites for desktop, tablet and mobile devices. Higher plans add online-store functionality, with the Pro package supporting a small product catalog and the Business package allowing an unlimited number of products. The builder itself carries a 0% sales transaction fee.

SSL options include Essential SSL, Wildcard SSL and EV SSL. From February 2026, a one-year SSL order is delivered through shorter 199-day certificate validity periods, with the certificate reissued during the paid annual subscription rather than requiring customers to purchase another certificate during that year.

Account protection is another strong point. Beyond domain locking and WHOIS privacy, customers can use authenticator-based or email-based two-factor authentication, IP whitelisting and additional safeguards around EPP-code retrieval, domain unlocking and contact-data modifications. DNSSEC is supported for compatible extensions and configurations, and it forms part of the Advanced Domain Protection service.

The service is primarily operated in English and uses a modern responsive interface. Customers can change the account currency used for new purchases, an important convenience for a registrar serving an international customer base.
