NodeSpace is an independent American web hosting and infrastructure provider founded in 2010 by Travis Newton, who remains Founder & CTO. The business operates as NodeSpace Technologies, LLC from Ypsilanti, Michigan, and has developed from a traditional hosting company into a broader infrastructure provider covering managed hosting, virtualization, bare-metal servers, colocation and private cloud.

The company remains relatively small, with approximately 2–10 employees, allowing it to maintain a more technical and direct service model than large mass-market hosting brands. The NodeSpace Technologies corporate identity was adopted in June 2023, while nodespace.com continues as the primary hosting and infrastructure brand.

Expansion has also included acquisitions and consolidation. During 2022, VoxVM was merged into NodeSpace and VPS provider sshVM (sshvm.com) was acquired. sshVM remains part of NodeSpace Technologies, reinforcing the group's focus on virtual servers and infrastructure services.

The portfolio covers Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Cloud VPS, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Private Cloud, Proxmox Hosting, Managed Services, Software Licensing, SSL Certificates, Domain Registration, Domain Transfers, custom server configurations and migration services. This gives customers a particularly broad upgrade path, from a basic website account through VPS and dedicated hardware to complete virtualization clusters and colocated infrastructure.

Managed cPanel Web Hosting is the entry point for websites, small businesses and users who prefer a fully managed environment. All packages use NVMe storage and include cPanel, email hosting, free SSL certificates, automatic daily backups and 24/7 support.

The Starter package includes 10 GB NVMe storage, 300 GB monthly bandwidth and one website. Basics increases capacity to 20 GB and two websites. Essentials provides 60 GB, 1 TB bandwidth, six websites, SSH access and support for Node.js, Python and Ruby, while Plus reaches 160 GB, 2 TB bandwidth and 11 websites. Annual subscriptions can include a domain for the first year, while higher packages can also include continued domain renewal as long as the hosting subscription remains eligible.

Website migration is available for customers moving from other hosting platforms and can include website files, databases and email accounts.

Reseller Hosting uses cPanel and WHM, combining NVMe storage with private nameservers, white-label hosting and individual customer-account management. Packages support progressively larger numbers of cPanel accounts, beginning with five and extending through plans supporting 10, 20 and 30 accounts. WHMCS can also be integrated separately for automated billing and customer management.

The Cloud VPS platform is based on Proxmox high-availability infrastructure. VPS customers receive full root access, dedicated resource allocations, RAID-protected enterprise SSD storage, DDoS mitigation, snapshots, browser-console access and support for custom ISO images.

Operating-system options include Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and CentOS Stream, together with Windows Server 2019 and 2022. Standard configurations begin with 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and 30 GB SSD storage, while larger packages increase CPU, RAM and disk resources. CPU, memory and storage can also be expanded individually. A VPS normally includes one IPv4 address, with additional IPv4 allocations available subject to approval.

Dedicated Servers provide single-tenant bare-metal infrastructure with root access and remote IPMI/KVM management. NodeSpace purchases, racks and maintains its own server and networking equipment, giving the company considerably more control over deployment and maintenance than a conventional hosting reseller.

Dedicated configurations can include custom operating systems, mounted ISO images, hardware RAID, private VLANs, additional drives, RAM upgrades and GPU hardware. Standard DDoS protection is included. Servers are normally self-managed, although additional management packages are available for customers who prefer technical administration to be handled by NodeSpace.

Dedicated hardware is available in Richmond, Virginia and Lenoir, North Carolina.

A major strength is Proxmox Hosting. NodeSpace supports both standalone Proxmox VE servers and complete multi-node high-availability clusters. Deployments can include Ceph distributed storage, Proxmox Backup Server, Proxmox Mail Gateway, dedicated Corosync networking, fencing, HA groups, ZFS storage and live migration.

This makes NodeSpace especially relevant for businesses moving away from expensive proprietary virtualization platforms or building private virtualization infrastructure around Proxmox.

Private Cloud extends this approach with dedicated compute, networking and storage tailored to individual workloads. Environments can include private VLANs, firewalls, local NVMe storage, ZFS, shared or clustered storage, custom hypervisors and dedicated backup systems. Customers can administer the environment themselves or add deployment, monitoring and ongoing management.

Colocation is available primarily from the Richmond facility. Customers can place individual 1U servers, quarter racks or complete 42U cabinets. Colocation packages can include redundant A+B power, Internet connectivity, IPv4 and IPv6 resources, private networking and remote-hands assistance.

Optional server administration is divided into management levels. Standard Management covers routine administration and managed backup retention, while Premium Management adds proactive monitoring, faster support handling, disk monitoring, RBL monitoring, website monitoring, scheduled maintenance and additional security functions for Windows systems.

Experienced administrators can continue using VPS and dedicated servers without purchasing a management package.

Software licensing is also available for products including cPanel, Plesk, ApisCP, Proxmox subscriptions and Windows-related software. SSL services combine free automated Let's Encrypt certificates for hosted websites with commercial DV, OV and EV certificates. SSL automation can be used with cPanel/WHM, Plesk, Apache, NGINX and HAProxy.

Domain registration and transfers are integrated into the customer account, while migration services extend well beyond basic websites. NodeSpace can handle websites, databases, mailboxes, virtual machines, containers and some on-premises server workloads.

The website operates in English, with services priced primarily in USD. Its current design is modern, responsive and considerably more complete than the older, limited hosting websites still used by some independent providers.
