Nexylan is a French managed hosting and infrastructure specialist founded in 2009 by Gaëtan Allart, who continues to serve as the company’s president. Based in the Lille metropolitan area, Nexylan concentrates on demanding websites, e-commerce platforms, critical business applications and customized infrastructure rather than inexpensive mass-market hosting.

The company joined the European Total Webhosting Solutions group in September 2021. Nexylan continued operating as an autonomous French business with its own technical teams, network infrastructure and proprietary N-Admin management platform while benefiting from the resources of a larger European hosting organization.

Its core business revolves around fully managed infrastructure. The dedicated-server range includes entry-level single-processor systems, high-performance NVMe configurations and larger dual-processor machines with substantial memory capacity. Typical installations use Intel Xeon or AMD EPYC processors, ECC memory, enterprise-grade storage and RAID protection. Redundant power supplies, multiple network connections and organized hardware replacement procedures reduce the impact of component failures.

Managed VPS and private-cloud platforms provide greater flexibility for projects that require scalable resources without depending on a single physical server. Retention periods can be adapted to operational requirements, backup integrity is checked and copies can be replicated between the Lille and Valenciennes areas.

Disaster-recovery and continuity architectures distribute critical resources across separate datacenter locations. Each project is designed around the required recovery time objective and recovery point objective. Replication, failover procedures and regular restoration tests reduce the risk of discovering an incomplete or unusable backup during an actual emergency.

Nexylan’s technical services extend well beyond routine server administration. Performance audits, load testing and optimization can cover the hardware platform, operating system, database, caching layer, web server and application code. The technical team works with Magento, PrestaShop, Drupal, WordPress, Symfony, Laravel and CodeIgniter environments. Load-testing scenarios can reproduce browsing activity, searches, shopping-cart operations and checkout traffic before a product launch, advertising campaign or seasonal sales period.

Its DevOps services include source-code management, continuous integration, automated deployment, rollback procedures, configuration management, application monitoring and infrastructure automation. GitLab, GitLab CI, Capistrano and other established development and deployment tools can be integrated into the operating workflow.

Nexylan is not a conventional entry-level shared hosting provider. Its portfolio focuses on managed servers, private clouds, application hosting, public-cloud operations, container platforms, backup, disaster recovery, performance engineering and DevOps. Domains, DNS zones, SSL certificates, CDN settings, email services and scheduled tasks are handled as components of broader managed environments through N-Admin.
