Netrouting is a Netherlands-based infrastructure and hosting company founded in 2007, with its main European operation in The Hague and a United States presence in Doral, Florida. Founder and CEO Savvas Bout has remained closely associated with the company through its expansion, corporate changes and later return to independent operation. The business currently belongs to Ellada Holdings LLC, while Netrouting B.V. remains the operating legal entity in the Netherlands.

Netrouting began with dedicated-server hosting and gradually developed into a much broader infrastructure provider. Over the years it expanded its backbone, added European and United States locations, moved deeper into colocation and carrier services, and invested heavily in its own network architecture. In 2023 Savvas Bout regained control of the European Netrouting operation from ColoHouse. During 2024, Ellada Holdings acquired the real estate housing the company's The Hague data-center operation, while Netrouting modernized its Dutch network with Nokia optical and IP equipment and developed a 400 Gbps core backbone.

The current portfolio covers Bare Metal Servers, Dedicated Servers, Cloud Compute, Optimized Cloud Compute, GPU Servers, Colocation, IP Transit, private connectivity, DDoS protection, managed hosting and infrastructure services for hosting providers and resellers.

Bare-metal and dedicated servers remain one of Netrouting's core strengths. The range includes Intel Xeon, Xeon Gold, AMD Ryzen and AMD EPYC hardware with SSD or NVMe storage, large RAM configurations and high-capacity network ports. Depending on the configuration and location, customers can use 1, 10, 40 or higher-capacity networking, with generous traffic allocations or unmetered bandwidth. IPMI and other out-of-band management options give customers direct hardware-level access for operating-system installation, recovery and troubleshooting.

The Unmetered Bare Metal range is particularly suitable for traffic-heavy services such as streaming, VPN infrastructure, gaming, software distribution and other applications where fixed bandwidth capacity is more important than a monthly traffic quota. Dedicated 10 Gbps and higher-capacity configurations are available, while the broader network can accommodate 25, 40 and 100 Gbps requirements for larger customers.

Cloud Compute uses KVM virtualization and provides full root or Administrator access. Instances use SSD or NVMe storage and support standard operating-system templates together with custom ISO deployment. Private networking, IPv6, backups and additional security services are available. Entry-level virtual machines start at approximately €5 per month, making the cloud range accessible for smaller projects as well as business workloads.

For customers that need predictable CPU performance, Optimized Cloud Compute allocates dedicated CPU resources rather than shared processing capacity. These instances are better suited to databases, production applications, development platforms and workloads where consistent performance matters. NVMe storage, private networking, backup facilities, DDoS protection and high-speed network access are part of the wider platform.

Netrouting also offers GPU Servers for AI, machine learning, rendering and other accelerated computing workloads. Available hardware includes RTX 6000-class systems and custom configurations using higher-end NVIDIA accelerators such as A100 and H100 GPUs. These servers can be paired with substantial RAM, NVMe storage and high-capacity networking.

Colocation is another important part of the company. Customers can start with individual rack units and scale to quarter, half or full cabinets. Higher-density deployments are also supported, including installations reaching approximately 20 kW per cabinet in The Hague. Colocation services can include redundant A/B power, IP transit, cross-connects, remote hands, out-of-band management and Ethernet connectivity up to 100 Gbps.

The networking portfolio is considerably stronger than that of a typical hosting provider. IP Transit can be purchased independently of server hosting, with 10 and 100 Gbps handoffs, eBGP support, RPKI validation and commercial models based on committed bandwidth or port capacity. Netrouting also supports BGP, BYOIP and BYOASN arrangements for customers running their own networks.

Private-connectivity products include point-to-point and multipoint Ethernet services, E-LINE, E-LAN and E-Tree configurations, QinQ and redundant routing paths. Cross-connect and remote-peering services are useful for ISPs, SaaS companies, hosting providers and organizations that need direct connectivity between multiple facilities or Internet exchanges.

Always-on DDoS Protection is included with relevant infrastructure products at Layer 3 and Layer 4. The platform has multi-Tbps mitigation capacity at the network edge. Application-layer Layer 7 attacks require an additional WAF or application-security layer, which is an important distinction for customers running public websites and APIs.

Netrouting also continues to support Website Hosting, although its focus is now more infrastructure-oriented than traditional low-cost shared hosting. Website environments can run on cloud or dedicated hardware with cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux, KernelCare, MariaDB, phpMyAdmin and common application installers. WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento and similar applications can be hosted within these environments.

Customers that prefer to outsource operating-system and server administration can use Managed Hosting. This combines Netrouting infrastructure with technical management by its engineering team, making it more suitable for businesses that need managed servers without maintaining an internal systems-administration team.

The Infrastructure as a Service and partner offerings are designed for hosting providers, SaaS businesses, VPN operators and other companies that want to build services on top of Netrouting infrastructure. White-label operation, private network arrangements, BGP options and integration with commercial hosting automation platforms make the service particularly useful for resellers.

The partner program uses Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers according to monthly recurring revenue. Discounts increase at the higher levels, reaching approximately 30% on new orders, while setup fees can also be reduced or removed. WHMCS and HostBill integration options make it easier to automate provisioning and resale.

Operating-system choice is broad. Linux options include AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Debian and Ubuntu, while Windows Server and BSD-based systems can also be deployed. Custom ISO installation is available for specialized operating systems, appliances and hypervisors such as Proxmox VE or VyOS.

The main website and customer experience are in English, and no multi-language/localized version exists. European services are primarily priced in EUR, while USD can also be relevant for United States operations and partner billing.
