*📜 Plan description
Colocation places customer-owned servers and network equipment in Mauritius Telecom's secured data-centre facilities, with dedicated-rack and per-U options available according to deployment size. The Rose Belle Tier IV facility in southern Mauritius provides about 1,500 square metres of secured rack space, more than 400 racks and approximately 3 MW of power capacity. The Rose Hill Tier III-compliant facility in central Mauritius provides about 300 square metres, more than 60 racks and approximately 500 kW of power capacity. Both environments are built around high-availability power, controlled cooling, physical security and technical remote assistance. Customers retain control of their operating system and server stack, making the service suitable for Linux, Windows or mixed estates.
International connectivity uses diverse submarine routes and direct peering relationships to maintain low-latency access and continuity if a cable route is disrupted. The broader network includes three subsea connectivity paths, five Internet exchange points, five points of presence and more than 50 peering relationships. Organizations can use the service for production hosting, private infrastructure, disaster-recovery equipment, network appliances and regulated workloads that must remain in Mauritius. Technical experts are available 24x7, while the final monthly charge depends on rack space, power draw, connectivity, remote-hands requirements and any additional managed services.

📄 Editorial Review
my.t is the commercial brand of Mauritius Telecom Ltd, one of the largest telecommunications, cloud, data-center and digital-services operators in Mauritius. Mauritius Telecom was established in 1988 as Mauritius Telecommunication Services and adopted its present identity after the restructuring of the country’s domestic and international telecommunications operations in 1992.The company developed from Mauritius’s national telecommunications infrastructure rather than from a conventional privately founded hosting startup. A strategic partnership completed in 2000 transferred a 40% interest to RIMCOM, while the remaining ownership is held mainly by Mauritian state-related institutions, employees and pensioners. Veemal Gungadin became Chief Executive Officer in April 2025, and the organization operates within the 1,001–5,000 employee range.
my.t is much broader than a traditional web hosting provider. Its business portfolio covers public cloud, private cloud, virtual servers, colocation, managed backup, content delivery, virtual desktops, business fibre, MPLS, SD-WAN, cloud telephony, corporate email, collaboration tools and managed cybersecurity.
my.t Cloud provides scalable virtual computing infrastructure through a dedicated cloud portal. Businesses can create virtual machines, deploy applications and increase server capacity without purchasing or maintaining physical hardware. The platform is best suited to organizations that require locally hosted infrastructure in Mauritius rather than inexpensive shared hosting for a small website.
Private Cloud provides isolated infrastructure for companies requiring dedicated capacity, greater control, regulatory compliance or integration with existing internal systems. It can be combined with managed connectivity, backup, security and colocation, allowing my.t to handle both the computing environment and the network connecting company locations to it.
Colocation is available at the Rose Belle and Rose Hill data centers. Customers can rent complete racks or smaller allocations measured by rack units. The service includes redundant power, controlled cooling, physical security and remote technical assistance. It is especially suitable for banks, government institutions, BPO companies, healthcare organizations and businesses that need their infrastructure physically located in Mauritius.
Offsite Backup as a Service protects servers located at customer premises, inside my.t Cloud or with another cloud provider. The managed service combines backup software, storage, deployment, monitoring and technical administration. Capacity can be expanded as data volumes increase, making it useful for disaster recovery, ransomware protection, hardware failure and accidental file deletion.
The Content Delivery Network stores website and application content closer to users in Mauritius. This reduces latency, lowers the workload on the origin server and helps websites handle sudden traffic increases. Customers still need their own website hosting, domain name and DNS management because the CDN supplements the original server rather than replacing it. SSL/TLS support can be included within the configuration.
Desktop as a Service provides centrally managed Windows virtual desktops that employees can access from computers, thin clients, tablets and mobile devices. Company data remains inside the Mauritius Telecom data-center environment instead of being stored on individual devices. This arrangement is suitable for remote work, temporary workstations, centralized software management, business continuity and applications requiring stronger computing or graphical resources.
The business software catalog includes Microsoft productivity tools, Zoho applications, Creatio CRM and Twake Email. Additional services cover cloud telephony, contact-center platforms, managed Wi-Fi, premium Internet access, international MPLS, SD-WAN and subsea connectivity.
Cybersecurity is another important part of the portfolio. Available services include next-generation firewalls, web application firewalls, endpoint security, email protection, DDoS mitigation, mobile security, secure access service edge, CCTV as a Service and Security Operations Centre services. Businesses can therefore combine cloud infrastructure, connectivity and managed security through the same provider.
The website is modern and works well on mobile devices, although some cloud functions require JavaScript. The business catalog is mainly available in English, while French is also used for some corporate and support content. Public prices are shown in Mauritian rupees.
my.t is not primarily designed for customers looking for cheap cPanel shared hosting, automated domain registration or a simple website-builder plan. Its strongest position is in enterprise infrastructure, local cloud services, managed connectivity and data-center hosting.
