MyHosting.com was a Canadian hosting brand founded in 1997 in Toronto under the SoftCom business background. The company became known as a long-running provider of web hosting, business email and cloud services for small businesses, developers and international customers. SoftCom operated the MyHosting.com and Mail2Web brands, later becoming part of Ingram Micro in 2013. In May 2018, Hostway acquired the MyHosting.com and Mail2Web business lines from Ingram Micro, marking the beginning of the brand’s final migration into Hostway’s hosting platform.Today, myhosting.com is no longer active as an independent hosting provider. The domain redirects to Hostway’s MyHosting migration area, where legacy customers are directed to Hostway systems for service management. This makes MyHosting a closed/inactive brand rather than a separate company accepting new hosting customers under its original model.
During its active years, MyHosting had a broad service portfolio. Their main products included shared hosting, Linux hosting, Windows hosting, VPS hosting, cloud services, domain registration, SSL certificates, email hosting, Hosted Exchange, Microsoft cloud services, website builder tools, web design and several add-ons for backups, mobile sites, security and business productivity.
One of the strongest points of MyHosting was its mixed Windows and Linux hosting approach. Customers could use Windows technologies such as ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server, while also having access to PHP, Perl, MySQL and other common open-source tools. This gave the company a more flexible profile than many older providers that were focused on only one hosting platform.
The company also built a solid reputation around business email. MyHosting and the related Mail2Web brand were connected with hosted mailboxes, webmail, mobile email, spam filtering, antivirus protection and Hosted Exchange-style collaboration. This made the brand attractive for small businesses that wanted hosting, domains and email services from the same provider.

😁 Exactly what I wanted
My early problems were resolved quickly, intelligently and courteously. Since the service has been nearly flawless which is exactly what I wanted in a Microsoft Exchange service. It has been even more reliable than my experience at Microsoft! More importantly their customer service grasped the problems quickly without me having to go over and over what the nature of the problems were. I do a lot of troubleshooting myself so this is important. Tech support calls with other companies are invariably unending discussions where they completely ignore the information I give them, and instruct me to run ridiculous tests that are apparently in a script their reading.

😠 I started with the company with their mail2web.com service, that was phenomenal with no issues. great service, support and setup assistance. but when we decided to move few corporate accounts on the exchange server to have sharing capabilities, we had to wait for over a week to get two accounts operational, then chat is nearly never available, all responses comes from myhosting.com support is just notification of escalation. The only people who finally assisted me were the mail2web.com staff who service consumer rather than business.
Plus their technical support people suffer from inability to continue on someone elses tickets, so I ended up dealing, talking, emailing and sometimes chatting with around 4 people who I had to describe the problem from the beinging!!

🗨 It's probably happened because of we were changing our system to Parallels. Now everything is working stable, without any problem. I cannot locate this customer and i'm not sure the comments are true. Anyway, if it's our mistake for some reason, we are very sorry. We never received a complaint like this.
