Magyar Hosting is a well-established Hungarian domain-registration, web-hosting and server-infrastructure provider operating since 2009. Services are supplied by Websupport Magyarország Kft., the legal successor of Magyar Hosting Kft., EZIT Kft. and Tárhelypark Kft.

The company expanded gradually from conventional hosting into server housing and virtualized infrastructure. Server hosting was introduced in 2010, virtualized hosting followed in 2011, and Magyar Hosting became a limited-liability company in 2012. In 2013, it moved its headquarters to the Budapest Internet Exchange center, became an accredited .hu registrar and launched VPS services.

Magyar Hosting joined the Loopia group in 2019. Magyar Hosting Kft. merged into Websupport Magyarország Kft. in 2021, while the wider operation became part of team.blue in 2024. The integration of Tárhelypark and EZIT brought additional customers and hosting services into the Magyar Hosting environment. Tárhelypark customer accounts were transferred to the shared customer portal on April 8, 2025, while the hosted data remained on the existing servers.

The provider has handled more than 68,000 domains and 42,000 hosting services, giving it a significant presence in the Hungarian hosting market. Its portfolio includes domain registration and transfer, shared hosting, business email, SSL certificates, KVM VPS, configurable virtual servers, dedicated servers, managed Linux administration, reseller hosting, domain reselling, software licenses, dedicated SMTP services and an affiliate program.

The main website is Hungarian-only. The online customer portal supports Hungarian and English and can display HUF, EUR and USD, although parts of the ordering process and product catalog remain Hungarian. The service is therefore best suited to customers who can manage Hungarian-language documentation and support communication.

Domain registration is one of Magyar Hosting’s core services. As an accredited .hu registrar, it submits Hungarian domain registrations directly to the official registry. Customers can register standard .hu domains and second-level Hungarian extensions such as .co.hu, .info.hu, .sport.hu and .bolt.hu. International options include widely used extensions such as .com, .eu and .net.

Domain transfers, renewals, DNS modifications and ownership changes are handled through the same customer system. Privacy protection is available for eligible international domains.

The shared-hosting range consists of Mini, Basic, Midi, Pro and Max packages. Storage starts at 0.5 GB and reaches 30 GB, while monthly traffic allowances extend from 25 GB to 500 GB. Depending on the selected package, an account can host between three and 62 domains, including the primary domain. Email capacity ranges from one mailbox to 100 mailboxes.

Every shared plan includes free SSL certificates, daily backups, webmail, spam filtering, DNS management, a CMS installer, encrypted SMTP and IMAP, unlimited parked domains, unlimited subdomains, unlimited FTP accounts and unlimited MySQL databases. SSH and SFTP access are also included, together with selectable PHP 7.x and PHP 8.x releases. The hosting environment uses Apache with LSPHP.

Resource limits are clearly assigned to each package. Mini includes one CPU core and 512 MB of memory, while Max increases to four CPU cores and 4 GB of memory. Entry-process limits, total process limits and disk-I/O capacity also rise with the larger packages. This structure makes it easier to select a plan based on actual application requirements rather than storage alone.

Email services are integrated into the hosting packages. Customers can create addresses under their own domain and use them through webmail, Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail or other compatible clients. The email platform includes authenticated SMTP, encrypted POP3 and IMAP connections, SPF, DomainKeys, incoming and outgoing spam filtering, message-delivery tracking and mailbox restoration from backups.

Hourly outbound limits begin at 150 messages on the smaller packages and reach 500 messages on Max. These limits are appropriate for normal personal and business communication but are not designed for large mailing campaigns.

The VPS platform uses KVM full hardware virtualization, AMD EPYC processors operating between approximately 2.75 and 3.80 GHz, SSD or NVMe storage, one public IP address and a 1 Gbps network connection. Standard configurations start with 512 MB RAM, one virtual CPU and 15 GB storage. Larger packages reach 16 GB RAM, eight virtual CPUs and 300 GB storage.

Custom VPS configurations can be assembled with 0.5 GB to 24 GB RAM, one to eight CPU cores and 10 GB to 600 GB storage. KVM provides an isolated virtual server with its own kernel, operating system and root access.

The VPS service includes a 100% resource guarantee, automated activation after payment and an online console for installation, rebooting and diagnostics. Standard VPS packages are self-managed, but managed Linux administration can be ordered separately.

Dedicated-server packages use Dell PowerEdge hardware with Intel Xeon E-series or AMD EPYC processors. The entry configuration uses a Dell PowerEdge R350 with a Xeon E-2434 processor, 16 GB DDR5 memory, two 480 GB SSDs, hardware RAID, redundant power supplies, dual 1 Gbps network interfaces and iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management.

Higher configurations offer 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB memory and use Dell PowerEdge R6615 systems with AMD EPYC processors and NVMe storage. Dedicated packages include one public IPv4 address, hardware replacement, server-room housing, redundant network connections and redundant power. A one-year commitment applies to these services.

Managed Linux server administration is available for customers who do not want to maintain the operating system themselves. The standard software environment can include Linux, Apache or Nginx, MySQL or MariaDB and several PHP versions. Management can cover installation, configuration, software updates, monitoring, backup procedures, restoration and technical fault resolution.

Optional cPanel, CloudLinux and JetBackup licenses can be added to compatible servers. These options make the managed service suitable for agencies, resellers and companies operating multiple websites or customer accounts.

Reseller hosting remains based on cPanel and WHM. Packages provide between 15 GB and 240 GB of SSD storage and support between five and 240 individual cPanel accounts. Resellers receive unlimited traffic, unlimited databases, unlimited hosted domains, a dedicated IP address, customizable branding, Roundcube webmail, Installatron, malware filtering, email filtering, CloudLinux account isolation and daily, weekly and monthly backups.

The reseller platform provides separate cPanel environments for individual customers rather than placing all websites under a single hosting account. WHM allows the reseller to create packages, allocate resources, suspend accounts and apply personalized branding.

The affiliate program uses a 90-day tracking cookie. Domain purchases do not generate commission, and approved earnings become available 95 days after the paid service remains active. The minimum payout is 5,000 Ft. Commission can be paid by bank transfer against an invoice or applied as credit toward the affiliate’s own services.
