Megahost Kazakhstan is a Kazakh web-hosting, cloud-infrastructure and domain-registration company operating since 2008. Megahost Kazakhstan LLP was formally registered on November 3, 2009, and is headquartered in Uralsk, West Kazakhstan Region.

The company became an official registrar for the national .KZ domain zone in 2012. Its cooperation with Webnames.ru began in 2013, simplifying the registration and management of Russian .RU and .РФ domains for customers in Kazakhstan. Megahost became a RIPE NCC member and Local Internet Registry in 2019, expanded its infrastructure to Aktau in 2020, and added service locations in Almaty and Astana in 2024.

Its current portfolio includes Linux shared hosting, economy hosting, WordPress hosting, website-builder hosting, 1C-Bitrix environments, mail hosting, DNS hosting, KVM VPS, Hi-CPU VPS, cloud servers, S3-compatible object storage, domain registration, SSL certificates and ISPsystem licenses. Software licenses are available for ISPmanager, VMmanager and DNSmanager.

The principal shared-hosting range is divided between Plesk and cPanel accounts. Alfa includes 5 GB of SSD storage for one website, while Beta increases the capacity to 15 GB and allows an unlimited number of hosted websites. Gamma and Delta use cPanel and provide 40 GB or 100 GB of SSD storage.

The economy range offers smaller Plesk packages for simple personal and business websites. WordPress plans use the same underlying hosting environment, combined with convenient CMS installation and PHP management. Shared accounts support MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, selectable PHP versions, FTP access, domain-based email through POP3, IMAP and SMTP, antivirus protection, geographically separated DNS and recurring backups stored on separate servers.

Drupal, Joomla, WordPress and other applications can be installed directly from the control panel. Website migration assistance is available during the trial period, although complex applications, custom scripts and unusual server configurations may require additional manual work.

A seven-day free hosting trial allows customers to migrate and test a website before paying for a hosting term. Trial activation remains subject to approval and may not be available for every order.

Website-builder hosting combines Plesk with templates and visual editing tools. It is best suited to company websites, landing pages, portfolios and smaller online projects that do not require custom development.

The 1C-Bitrix packages use preconfigured virtual-machine environments with a dedicated IP address, allocated memory, storage and separate backup capacity. Bitrix-5 includes 1 GB RAM and a 10 GB virtual disk, while Bitrix-20 provides 2 GB RAM and 40 GB of disk space. These are virtualized environments rather than conventional shared-hosting accounts.

Standard KVM VPS configurations are available in Astana, Almaty and Aktau. The entry package includes one vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 20 GB SSD storage, a separate 20 GB backup allocation, one IPv4 address and a 100 Mbps connection. Larger packages scale to eight vCPUs, 8 GB RAM and 100 GB of storage.

The separate backup allocation is particularly useful because it does not consume space from the main virtual-server disk. Customers receive root access and can independently configure the operating system, web server, databases and applications.

The Hi-CPU VPS range is hosted in Almaty and is designed for databases, compilation, application servers and other processor-intensive workloads. Configurations range from two vCPUs and 2 GB RAM to ten vCPUs and 10 GB RAM.

Cloud servers operate from Astana and use distributed storage. CPU, memory and SSD capacity can be expanded without shutting down or restarting the virtual machine. Plans provide between 12 and 32 vCPUs, corresponding RAM allocations, 120 GB to 320 GB of storage, separate backup capacity and network ports rated at 100 or 200 Mbps.

The S3-compatible object-storage service operates from Aktau. It is suitable for backups, archives, application data, media files and static website content. Data is replicated across at least three separate servers, inbound traffic is free, and access is provided through standard S3 API credentials. Storage packages range from 50 GB to 10 TB.

Mail hosting can be ordered separately from website hosting. Mailus includes 30 GB of storage, 30 mailboxes, spam filtering, antivirus protection, SSL and browser-based email access. Mailus Extra can be configured with 60 GB to 5 TB of storage, 100 to 1,000 mailboxes and a dedicated IPv4 address.

DNS hosting uses independent name servers in different Kazakhstan cities. Customers receive a DNS management interface, unlimited queries and unrestricted record changes. Common records such as A, CNAME, MX, TXT and SRV are supported.

Domain services cover registration, renewal, transfer, WHOIS checks and restoration. Megahost handles the national .KZ namespace and more than 90 international extensions. SSL options include domain validation, organization validation, extended validation, Wildcard, multi-domain and code-signing certificates.

The website is available in Russian, Kazakh, English and Chinese, although Russian contains the most complete technical and legal information. Retail prices are displayed in Kazakhstani tenge.
