Mangelot Hosting is an independent Dutch hosting provider based in Enschede. The business was founded in 2004 by Marco Angelo Tidu, and its name combines parts of the founder’s own name: Marco ANGELO Tidu. With more than two decades of activity and a small team, the company follows a more personal and technically involved approach than large international hosting groups.

The service range centers on Linux shared hosting, reseller hosting, domain registration, domain transfers, professional email, DNS management and SSL certificates. VPS, cloud servers and dedicated servers are not part of the current product range. Mangelot Hosting is consequently most relevant for personal websites, associations, freelancers, small businesses, agencies and web designers that prefer managed hosting without having to administer an entire server.

Shared hosting is divided into three packages. Budget Hosting includes 10 GB of NVMe storage, 5 TB of traffic, one CPU core, 1 GB of memory and support for as many as five websites. Medium Hosting increases the resources to 20 GB of NVMe storage, 10 TB of traffic, two CPU cores, 2 GB of memory and ten websites. Pro Hosting includes 50 GB of NVMe storage, 25 TB of traffic, four CPU cores, 4 GB of memory and support for up to 25 websites.

All shared hosting packages include DirectAdmin, Installatron, daily backups, free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates, malware protection, antivirus scanning, ModSecurity and MariaDB databases. The web-server configuration combines Apache with an Nginx proxy layer, which provides broad application compatibility while improving the handling of static content and concurrent connections.

Customers can choose between PHP versions from 7.0 through 8.3. Cron jobs, FTP, FTPS, SFTP, SSH, DNSSEC, configurable DNS records, mailing lists, autoresponders, redirects and webmail are also included. Email accounts, databases and FTP accounts are generally unrestricted in number, although all usage remains subject to the storage, processing and fair-use limits of the selected package.

Installatron simplifies the deployment of WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, Zen Cart, phpBB and many other open-source applications. The installer also helps with application updates and backups, making the platform accessible to beginners as well as users managing several websites. Resource-intensive WooCommerce and Magento installations are better matched with the Medium or Pro packages, especially when traffic and database activity begin to increase.

The reseller packages are aimed at designers, developers, marketing agencies and small hosting businesses. Reseller 1 includes 100 GB of storage, unmetered traffic, DirectAdmin, Installatron and daily backups. Reseller 2 increases the storage allowance to 200 GB and also includes unmetered traffic.

One Reseller 1 specification should be confirmed before ordering. Its detailed package configuration lists 25 domain accounts, while the general reseller comparison gives a limit of 100 hosting accounts. Reseller 2 consistently supports 200 accounts. This difference is important for agencies planning to divide the package among a larger number of customers.

More than 1,100 domain extensions are available, covering Dutch and international country-code domains, standard generic extensions and specialist TLDs. Registrations are processed in real time and include DNS management, IPv4 and IPv6 nameservers, domain parking and expiration reminders through email and SMS.

Domain transfers normally require an Auth or EPP code. Many extensions receive an additional registration year after a successful transfer, depending on the registry rules. Domains are not renewed automatically, giving customers direct control over renewals and expenses. This also makes it essential to respond to expiration reminders before a domain reaches its deletion or redemption period.

Every hosting package includes an automatically renewed Let’s Encrypt certificate. Commercial SSL certificates are available for customers requiring wildcard coverage, multiple-domain protection, organization validation or extended validation.

The technical knowledge base covers DirectAdmin, email configuration, FTP, SSH, databases, DNS management, backups, PHP settings, caching, Redis, Memcached and website security. This collection of instructions is especially useful for customers who prefer solving routine configuration questions without waiting for support.

Account security was strengthened in February 2026 through mandatory two-factor authentication. Authentication options include standard authenticator applications, Duo, WhatsApp and one-time codes delivered by email. A storage upgrade completed in May 2026 added new enterprise NVMe capacity, improving disk performance and providing more headroom during busy periods.

The customer portal, documentation and ordering process are primarily available in Dutch. A complete English-language customer environment does not exist. Billing is handled in euros, making the platform particularly suitable for customers in the Netherlands and nearby European markets who are comfortable using Dutch-language support and documentation.
