📄 Editorial Review

M3Server is a long-established U.S. managed hosting provider with roots going back to 1996. The company started from a small office with a single T1 connection and initially offered shared hosting and dial-up Internet access. Its business later evolved toward managed Linux VPS, dedicated and bare-metal servers, application-specific hosting, storage, backups, CDN, SSL certificates, domains and technical services. The hosting operation is run by M3Server Inc., and co-founder Chris Stach started the company with a friend he met while serving in the U.S. Air Force.

The main strength of M3Server is fully managed VPS and dedicated hosting. VPS Elite starts around $40 per month and scales to configurations with up to 8 vCores, 16 GB RAM and several hundred gigabytes of SSD storage. Higher configurations combine hosting resources with cloud storage, SafeVault backup space, CDN traffic and an SSL certificate. An older SSD VPS range also remains available from approximately $15 per month. Customers can host unlimited domains within the practical limits of their allocated server resources, receive an IP address and SSH access, while M3Server handles much of the underlying Linux server administration.

Dedicated hosting covers several performance levels. The newer M3XS NVMe Extreme range uses AMD EPYC processors, NVMe RAID storage and 10G LAN/WAN interfaces, with configurations ranging from four to 32 CPU cores. Published pricing starts around $99.99 per month and reaches approximately $449.99 per month for larger systems. Business Class dedicated hosting starts near $200 per month, while classic bare-metal configurations with hardware RAID remain available from around $379 per month. These services are particularly suitable for customers who want dedicated resources without assuming full responsibility for routine server administration.

M3Server also provides managed WordPress and Joomla hosting, with assisted or simplified deployment, malware scanning, caching, free first-year domains on qualifying packages and optional NGINX configuration. Smart hosting bundles combine a managed server with CDN capacity, SafeVault backup space, a domain and SSL certificate. Published examples include approximately $65 per month for a virtual-server package, $175 per month for a Smart Server and $325 per month for a dedicated configuration.

A notable part of the portfolio is its application-specific hosting. NATS hosting is tailored for affiliate-tracking software, while Ant Media hosting targets low-latency streaming workloads and starts around $65 per month. Managed social-network hosting supports community platforms with application installation included, while xStreamer and other video-oriented configurations are prepared for FFmpeg, NGINX streaming and media-processing workloads. This specialization in media-heavy and custom applications gives M3Server a broader technical scope than a typical general-purpose VPS provider.

Additional services include domain registration, WHOIS privacy, SSL certificates, object cloud storage, M3SafeVault off-server backups, CDN delivery and paid SiteTech assistance. Domains start around $12.99 per year, SSL certificates around $8.95 per year and backup services around $5 per month. Object storage is available both as a bundled allocation with hosting and as a scalable service. SiteTech covers work such as migrations, malware cleanup, WordPress assistance, performance testing, scripting and administration tasks outside the standard managed-hosting scope.

Some older hosting plans remain available alongside newer infrastructure, so customers with strict software requirements should confirm the exact PHP, MySQL or MariaDB versions, processor generation, storage type, bandwidth allocation and server location attached to the selected package. This is particularly relevant because older configurations and newer AMD EPYC/NVMe systems coexist in the catalog.

The service is primarily aimed at English-speaking customers and uses USD for product pricing.
