M3Server is a long-established U.S. managed hosting provider with roots going back to 1996. The company started from a small office with a single T1 connection and initially offered shared hosting and dial-up Internet access. Its business later evolved toward managed Linux VPS, dedicated and bare-metal servers, application-specific hosting, storage, backups, CDN, SSL certificates, domains and technical services. The hosting operation is run by M3Server Inc., and co-founder Chris Stach started the company with a friend he met while serving in the U.S. Air Force.

The main strength of M3Server is fully managed VPS and dedicated hosting. VPS Elite starts around $40 per month and scales to configurations with up to 8 vCores, 16 GB RAM and several hundred gigabytes of SSD storage. Higher configurations combine hosting resources with cloud storage, SafeVault backup space, CDN traffic and an SSL certificate.
