Lonex has operated since 2002 and belongs to LiquidNet Ltd. (liquidnetlimited.com), a UK-based hosting company and ICANN-accredited domain registrar. LiquidNet US LLC supports the American side of the operation, including payment processing and customer account administration. The platform serves more than 300,000 customers and manages approximately 200,000 registered domains.

The product range covers Cloud Hosting, VPS, Semi-Dedicated Servers, Dedicated Servers, domain registration and transfers, SSL certificates, WHOIS privacy, email hosting, website building, application installation, and VPN storage with selected hosting plans. Services are available from infrastructure in the United States, United Kingdom, Finland, Bulgaria, and Australia, giving customers a useful selection of regional deployment options.

Cloud hosting is divided into Personal, Business, Corporate, and Enterprise packages. The Personal plan supports one website, five MySQL databases, 100 email accounts, and 5 GB of VPN storage. Business allows multiple websites, 20 MySQL databases, 500 email accounts, and 15 GB of VPN storage. Corporate adds unlimited MySQL databases and email accounts, 20 PostgreSQL databases, and 25 GB of VPN storage. Enterprise includes SSH access, a dedicated IP address, broader programming-language support, and 50 GB of VPN storage.

Disk space and monthly traffic are sold as unlimited, although normal fair-use and server-resource restrictions still apply. These plans work best for conventional websites rather than projects that continuously consume excessive storage, processor time, or network capacity.

Every cloud package includes an eligible free domain, assisted website migration, daily backup access, email hosting, the proprietary Hepsia control panel, a website builder, and a one-click application installer. The installer provides more than 50 PHP applications, while dedicated hosting packages are also available for WordPress, Joomla, Mambo, 4images, and Coppermine.

WordPress and Joomla are practical choices for customers who want a quick content-management-system deployment. Mambo, 4images, and Coppermine are much older applications, and their continued inclusion makes part of the service catalog look dated. Customers who require a specific MySQL, PHP, or database-engine release should confirm the active version before ordering.

The included Website Builder uses drag-and-drop editing and provides more than 100 responsive templates, integrated guidance, and basic search-engine optimization controls. It is suitable for portfolios, local business websites, landing pages, and straightforward informational projects.

Virtual servers are available with OpenVZ and KVM virtualization. Entry configurations include 4 GB of RAM, two CPU cores, NVMe storage, and 3 TB of monthly traffic. OpenVZ servers are available in Finland and Bulgaria, while KVM services can be deployed in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia.

OpenVZ provides a lower-cost virtual-server environment, while KVM offers stronger isolation and full root access. The main limitation is the 20 Mbit/s network speed allocation. This is sufficient for ordinary websites, development systems, VPN installations, and moderate business workloads, but it may restrict large backup transfers, download services, video distribution, or other bandwidth-intensive applications. VPS plans include weekly backups and migration assistance.

Semi-Dedicated Hosting provides a useful intermediate option between cloud hosting and a self-managed server. The Plus package includes one CPU allocation and permits up to 90,000 MySQL queries per hour. Pro increases this to two CPU allocations and 130,000 MySQL queries per hour. Both include a dedicated IP address and the Hepsia management environment.

Semi-dedicated hosting is particularly suitable for established websites that need more predictable processor and database capacity without the additional administration required by a VPS or dedicated server.

Dedicated servers include root access, operating-system selection, RAID options, a dedicated IP address, and a choice between Hepsia and cPanel. Hepsia can also provide up to five separate subaccounts, which is useful for agencies, developers, and customers managing several independent projects. Billing and technical support for those subaccounts remain the responsibility of the server owner.

The separate reseller platform is currently unavailable, so anyone planning to build a commercial hosting business should confirm whether new reseller enrollment is active before committing to the service.
