The business started with a single hosting and support customer and gradually developed into a broad technology provider serving websites, business applications, virtual servers, dedicated infrastructure, domains, security products and managed IT environments. Over the years, the company grew to more than 30,000 customers and approximately 95,000 hosted websites.

Its service range includes Linux Web Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Windows ASP.NET Hosting, Cloud VPS, Dedicated Servers, Managed Servers, Server Backup, Domain Registration, SSL Certificates, Microsoft SQL Server licensing, private cloud, colocation, CDN, DNS management and related security services. This is a more complete portfolio than the basic shared hosting offered by many smaller providers, especially for Israeli businesses that need both Linux and Microsoft technologies from one supplier.

Linux and WordPress hosting operates on a cloud platform with cPanel, SSD storage, email hosting, DNS management, malware protection, web application firewall filtering and DDoS protection. Accounts support several websites and application environments including PHP, Node.js, Python and Ruby. Other technical features include MySQL databases, Apache, OpCache, ImageMagick, Varnish caching, gzip compression, ClamAV scanning and one-click installation for hundreds of applications. Hosting is available in Israel, while New York is offered as an alternative location for certain plans.

The Windows service is intended for ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server and IIS applications. It includes isolated application pools, FTP access, email, databases and website management through WebsitePanel/MSPControl. The platform can accommodate older Microsoft applications, although some listed IIS, SQL Server and Windows Server versions belong to previous software generations. Unmanaged customers retain responsibility for software and application maintenance.

The R1Soft-based backup service supports physical and virtual Linux or Windows servers. It uses block-level continuous data protection, can create recovery points as frequently as every 15 minutes and stores backup data separately from production systems. The recovery interface allows individual files or larger datasets to be restored. Application-aware functions are available for MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Exchange.

Dedicated servers are supplied through individual sales quotations rather than a public fixed-configuration catalog. Joinweb also handles private cloud, colocation and hybrid infrastructure projects, making the company suitable for organizations whose needs extend beyond ordinary website hosting.

SSL options include domain-validated, wildcard and higher-assurance certificates from RapidSSL, GeoTrust, Thawte, Comodo and Certum, together with free Let’s Encrypt certificates. The main weakness is inconsistent catalog maintenance. The footer remains dated 2023, a COVID-era notice is still present, and several plan specifications differ between sections in relation to storage, traffic, billing periods and cancellation deadlines. The design also belongs to an older generation of hosting websites.
