📄 Editorial Review

iWHOST is a Malaysian web hosting and infrastructure provider operated by SKSA Technology Sdn. Bhd., headquartered in Subang Jaya, Selangor. The hosting business has operated since 2004, while SKSA Technology Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 2007. Shamsul Kamal Shak Ali is associated with the company as its founder.

The service range is extensive and covers Linux Shared Hosting, Windows Hosting, SSD Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Email Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Linux and Windows VPS, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Domains, SSL Certificates, SiteBuilder, Load Balancing and MySQL Replication. iWHOST also handles web design, e-commerce development, customized business systems and mobile application development, giving business customers the option to combine hosting infrastructure with development services.

Linux shared hosting uses cPanel and includes email accounts, databases, Softaculous application installation and automatic SSL. Current packages range from 10 GB to 100 GB of storage and carry a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Windows hosting uses Plesk and supports Microsoft SQL Server databases for customers requiring a Windows-based application environment.

The WordPress Hosting platform is considerably more performance-focused, with SSD storage, LiteSpeed, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3, QUIC, Brotli compression, Redis and Memcached support, PHP 7/8, automatic SSL and cPanel. DDoS protection and ImunifyAV+ are also included, making this range suitable for WordPress installations where speed and security are higher priorities.

SSD Hosting follows a similar cPanel-based approach with SSD storage, free SSL, Softaculous and malware protection. Business email is available separately through Email Pro, which supports IMAP, POP3, webmail, mobile access, calendars, contacts, tasks, SSL/TLS, DKIM and ClamAV filtering.

Customers that need more administrative control can move to VPS hosting. Linux and Windows virtual servers include root or Remote Desktop access, dedicated IP addresses and unmetered transfer. Larger projects can move to dedicated bare-metal servers, while customers with their own equipment can use the company's Cyberjaya colocation service.

Reseller hosting uses DirectAdmin and provides multiple hosting accounts, custom nameservers and overselling capability. This makes it suitable for developers, agencies and smaller hosting businesses that want to manage customer hosting under their own identity.

Domain registration is available alongside the hosting services, including common international extensions and Malaysian domains. SSL certificates can be purchased separately, while advanced infrastructure services include load balancing and MySQL master-to-slave replication. These specialized services are handled individually rather than as simple standardized hosting packages.

The website and customer-facing services are primarily in English, while prices are mainly shown in Malaysian ringgit (MYR). International PayPal transactions can be converted to USD.

Some long-established service sections retain older technical references, including Windows Server 2008, older Plesk releases, legacy SiteBuilder documentation and older infrastructure information. The main WordPress, SSD, VPS and dedicated-server products use considerably newer technologies such as NVMe, PHP 8 and HTTP/3. Customers ordering products connected to older service categories should confirm the exact software version and configuration required for their application.
