Hosting90.cz is a long-established Czech hosting provider founded in 2002 by Jan Hilgard. The company developed from a small infrastructure operation into a hosting and cloud business with a team of approximately 25 people. Hilgard remained its founder and chief executive until the business was sold to WY Group in 2020. HOSTING90 systems s.r.o. became Webglobe in 2021, and the Hosting90 brand now operates within the wider Webglobe organization. Webglobe joined group.one in 2024, placing Hosting90 within a larger European hosting and software group.

The company created its own ISP network project in 2004 and introduced virtual servers in 2010. Regional expansion followed through Hosting90.eu, Hosting90.hr and Hosting90.rs between 2012 and 2014. Managed services were added in 2015, the infrastructure moved to TTC Teleport in 2016, and the CloudStore90 business portal was introduced in 2017.

Hosting90 combines VPS hosting, shared web hosting, business email, domain registration, storage, backup services and Microsoft software licensing. Managed infrastructure and newer server products are now closely integrated with Webglobe, while the original Hosting90 VPS platform and Systems90 administration interface remain available.

The VPS service is divided into several hardware profiles suitable for different workloads. The S series uses shared CPU resources and SSD storage for smaller websites, development environments and testing. The C series combines dedicated virtual CPU resources with SSD storage and is better suited to business applications, databases, Windows workloads and terminal servers. The H series offers shared CPU capacity with larger SATA storage allocations for data-heavy services with moderate processing requirements. The XL series combines dedicated CPU resources with large disks and is intended for databases, business applications and workloads approaching physical-server requirements.

VPS configurations range from 1 vCPU, 2 GB of RAM and 20 GB of SSD storage to 8 vCPUs, 120 GB of RAM and 2.4 TB of SATA capacity. Most plans include 10 TB of monthly traffic. Resources can be adjusted through the customer administration interface, and both daily and monthly billing are available. This flexibility is useful for temporary development systems, seasonal projects and servers whose resource requirements change over time.

Operating-system choices include Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora, Oracle Linux, Alpine Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and Windows Server. Application templates cover WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, MediaWiki, Nextcloud, MongoDB, Redis, Zentyal, 3CX, RouterOS, pfSense, OPNsense and several network or firewall distributions.

The template catalog still contains some older technologies, including RancherOS, discontinued CentOS releases and references to Windows Server 2012 and 2016. Some PHP information also reflects earlier software generations. Production customers should therefore confirm the currently supported operating-system images before deploying a new server.

Storage services include direct storage, NAS storage and NAS backup. Available access methods include FTP, SMB, NFS, SFTP and rsync, while storage capacity can be expanded in 100 GB increments. VPS customers can create manual images and snapshots or activate automated three-day and seven-day snapshot cycles. Automated VPS backup is an optional service rather than a standard feature included with every virtual server.

The shared web hosting range contains four main service levels. Hosting90 Lite provides 100 MB of web space and one 100 MB MySQL database and can be used without a separate hosting charge when ordered with a qualifying domain. Hosting90 includes 2 GB of web space, 2.5 GB of email storage and two databases. Hosting90 Plus increases capacity to 5 GB of web space, 10 GB of email storage and ten databases. Hosted Email combines 5 GB of web space with 100 GB of email capacity.

Shared-hosting features include Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates, FTP access, MariaDB databases, phpMyAdmin, webmail, DNS administration, traffic statistics, antispam filtering, malware protection and one-click CMS installation. Hosting data is backed up daily, and as many as seven daily copies can be downloaded from the customer account without an additional backup fee.

Separate email packages are also available. Email90 Lite includes 200 MB of storage, while Email90 and Email90 Plus provide 5 GB and 15 GB respectively. Customers can create an unlimited number of mailboxes within the total storage capacity of the selected plan.

The domain service supports Czech, European, international and country-code extensions. Registrations are processed automatically after payment, while DNS records, transfers and renewal information can be managed through the customer interface. SMS expiration notifications are available. Domain parking includes 5 MB of web space and support for .htaccess.

New managed-service orders are increasingly handled through Webglobe’s wider infrastructure catalog. These services include managed Linux VPS, managed Windows VPS, physical dedicated servers, fully managed physical servers, application servers, cold storage, server security and customized cloud infrastructure. Managed packages add senior system administration, priority support, daily backups with longer retention and continuous infrastructure monitoring.

The Hosting90 storefront is primarily available in Czech, and product prices are denominated in Czech koruna (CZK). The original Hosting90 catalog does not provide a complete English purchasing experience, although contractual documents may be concluded in Czech or English.

The website retains a dated appearance and contains older specifications, duplicated package information and occasional price inconsistencies. Navigation also mixes the original Hosting90 portfolio with newer Webglobe products. The underlying automation and hosting administration remain functional, but customers should verify the final configuration and checkout price before placing an order.
