Hostens is a Lithuania-based hosting provider created in 2016 as the international hosting brand of Interneto vizija, a Lithuanian hosting company founded in 2003 by Arvydas Štrausas. Interneto vizija had already developed into one of Lithuania's major hosting and domain providers before expanding internationally under the Hostens name. In November 2020, Interneto vizija and its data-center subsidiary UAB Rakrėjus were acquired by Miss Group (missgroup.com), giving Hostens the backing of a larger international hosting group while retaining its Lithuanian infrastructure and operating base.

Hostens serves around 120,000 customers and operates approximately 17,500 servers across its wider hosting environment. Its portfolio covers Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Linux VPS, Windows VPS, Container VPS, Storage VPS, Managed VPS, Website Builder, Domains, SSL Certificates, VPN, Spam Filtering, SEO tools, DNS services and software licenses. The range works well for both ordinary website owners and more technical customers who need root access and virtual-server flexibility. The main international service is English-language, and hosting prices are primarily listed in USD.

Shared Hosting is divided into the S10, S20 and S40 packages. S10 includes 10 GB storage, 1 TB monthly transfer, 10 websites, 10 databases and 100 email accounts. S20 expands this to 25 GB storage, 2 TB transfer, 20 websites and 200 mailboxes, while S40 provides 50 GB storage, 4 TB transfer, 40 websites and 400 email accounts. The platform uses cPanel together with CloudLinux, Apache and MariaDB and includes daily and weekly backups, PHP, Ruby and Python support, a website builder and a choice between European, U.S. and Asian hosting locations.

Longer shared-hosting subscriptions can also include a free domain using extensions such as .Online, .Store, .Website, .Tech or .Site. Let's Encrypt SSL certificates are available without an additional charge, while Installatron simplifies deployment and maintenance of more than 100 CMS and web applications. This makes the shared platform suitable for WordPress, business websites, personal projects and other common PHP-based applications without requiring server administration.

Reseller Hosting extends the same environment with WHM and separate cPanel customer accounts. The entry R10 package includes 20 GB storage, 2 TB transfer, 10 cPanel accounts and capacity for up to 100 websites. Larger R20 and R40 configurations increase both storage and account allowances. Resellers also receive daily and weekly backups, PHP, Ruby, Python and Node.js support, a website builder and the same geographic choice between Europe, the United States and Asia. It is a practical option for web agencies, developers and smaller hosting businesses that need isolated customer accounts without maintaining their own VPS infrastructure.

The VPS range is considerably broader. Linux VPS runs on KVM virtualization and includes full root access through SSH, dedicated virtual resources, IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity and a choice of Linux distributions. The Small Linux VPS provides 2 GB RAM, one CPU core, 20 GB SSD storage and 4 TB transfer. More powerful configurations increase CPU cores, RAM, disk capacity and bandwidth.

The underlying VPS nodes use enterprise hardware with dual Intel Xeon Gold 6132 processors, ECC memory and SSD RAID storage. Optional daily or weekly backup service can be added for around $1 per month. Customers who prefer graphical server administration can also add cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin licenses where supported.

Container VPS uses OpenVZ virtualization and starts with 2 GB RAM, one CPU core, 25 GB storage and 2 TB bandwidth. It is generally less expensive than KVM and works well for Linux web servers, mail servers and applications that do not require their own kernel.

Storage VPS also uses OpenVZ but places much greater emphasis on disk capacity. The entry configuration includes 256 GB storage, 512 MB RAM, one CPU core and 2 TB transfer. These servers are particularly useful for file archives, remote backup repositories and other storage-heavy workloads. Customers using Storage VPS should maintain their own additional backup strategy because a separate Hostens backup layer is not included with this product.

Windows VPS provides KVM virtualization together with Windows Server templates and remote administration capabilities. Like the Linux VPS range, these servers are self-managed. Hostens maintains the physical servers, networking and virtualization infrastructure, while the customer remains responsible for operating-system configuration, updates, security, software and application maintenance.

Customers who do not want to administer the operating system themselves can use Managed VPS, also known as Professional Hosting. The Mini package provides 2 vCPU, 6 GB RAM, 50 GB storage and unlimited bandwidth for $50.99 per month. Larger Midi and Maxi packages increase processor and memory resources. Managed VPS includes cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux, Let's Encrypt SSL, daily and weekly backups and system administration. The entry configuration includes a cPanel Admin license for up to five accounts, with larger license tiers available when necessary.

Hostens also includes a Website Builder for customers who want to create sites without programming or manually installing a CMS. Shared-hosting customers receive website-building functionality as part of their account, making it possible to launch simpler business or personal sites without WordPress.

Domain registration covers established extensions such as .com, .net, .org and .eu together with many newer TLDs. Domain services include registration, renewal, DNS management and transfer functionality.

Security and related services extend beyond hosting. SSL Certificates include commercial domain-validation, organization-validation and extended-validation products, while free Let's Encrypt certificates cover many normal website requirements. Spam Filtering adds more advanced email filtering, malware detection, quarantine and mail-management capabilities. The SEO Tool can identify broken links, duplicate content and other technical website problems while also assisting with keyword monitoring.

A separate VPN service is available for desktop and mobile devices and provides access to VPN servers in numerous countries. Together with hosting, domains, SSL and administrative software licenses, this gives Hostens a broader product range than many low-cost VPS specialists.
