Hosteko is an Indonesian hosting provider based in Purworejo, Central Java, operating since 2014 under founder and CEO Tri Wahyudi. The company’s hosting experience extends back to 2010, while the hosteko.com domain was registered on March 16, 2014.

The product range is unusually broad for a regional hosting company. Hosteko offers domains, Cloud Hosting, VPS, Cloud Servers, Dedicated Servers, Reseller Hosting, business email, SSL certificates, backup/storage VPS, software licenses, server management and VPN services. Website Builder, SEO-related tools, Google Workspace, Titan Mail and Open-Xchange email services are also available through its billing platform.

Cloud Hosting is divided between Indonesia, Singapore and the United States, allowing customers to place regular websites relatively close to their primary audience. Personal plans cover lightweight websites and smaller projects, while Business packages increase SSD storage and are better suited to larger websites, corporate applications and online stores.

The shared Cloud Hosting environment uses cPanel, CloudLinux and Softaculous. Accounts include free SSL, automated daily backups, migration assistance and malware/virus cleanup support. Larger Business packages can also include a domain while the qualifying hosting subscription remains active.

Regular Cloud Hosting includes a 99.98% uptime SLA. Automatic daily backups provide useful additional protection, although customers should still keep independent copies of important data. Shared accounts exceeding 10 GB are excluded from the standard Hosteko backup process.

Hosteko also provides several VPS families for customers that need root access and dedicated virtual resources. Indonesian VPS uses KVM virtualization, while U.S. packages include standard configurations as well as Big RAM and Big Space options with SSD or NVMe storage. Other server choices extend into Europe and Asia, including Windows-based VPS products.

Cloud Server plans provide another step between shared hosting and dedicated hardware. Indonesian configurations begin with small virtual machines suitable for development, lightweight services and private applications, while larger instances provide considerably more CPU and memory. International Cloud Server locations include Singapore, the United States, Canada and Europe.

Dedicated Servers are available in Indonesia, Singapore, the United States and Europe. Indonesian systems support Linux or Windows, public IPv4 addressing and unrestricted data transfer under the relevant network limits. Singapore servers combine dedicated hardware with substantial local storage and monthly transfer allowances.

Reseller Hosting is another important part of the business. International reseller plans use cPanel/WHM, private nameservers, SSL, malware protection and daily backups, while some higher packages include a WHMCS license. Locations include Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and Amsterdam. Indonesian reseller packages are also available with DirectAdmin.

Resellers remain responsible for direct support of their own customers. Hosteko handles infrastructure and hosting issues through the reseller account rather than acting as the reseller’s end-user help desk.

Domain services cover international extensions and Indonesian .ID domains, along with DNS management, forwarding and reseller-domain programs. Separate reseller programs exist for both international domains and Indonesian extensions.

Business email is available as a standalone service. Hosteko uses the Open-Xchange environment with POP, IMAP and MAPI support together with webmail, mobile access, contacts, calendars, file storage and task management. Personal Mail includes 5 GB per user, while Corporate Mail increases available storage. The package specifications use a 99.9% uptime guarantee for the mail service.

Hosteko also sells software licenses for hosting and server administration, including cPanel/WHM, Plesk, DirectAdmin, LiteSpeed, CyberPanel Enterprise, CloudLinux, Imunify360, KernelCare, SolusVM, WHMCS, Blesta, ClientExec, Softaculous, SitePad, RVSiteBuilder and JetBackup.

Linux server management is available separately and covers monitoring, Apache/MySQL/PHP optimization, security patching, troubleshooting and cPanel migrations. This is useful for VPS and dedicated-server customers that require greater administrative assistance without purchasing a fully managed hosting package.

Cloud VPS Storage provides off-site capacity for backups and archives, with support for FTP, SCP, Rsync and third-party software such as JetBackup. Storage configurations range from approximately 1 TB to 10 TB, with locations including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Singapore, Hong Kong and Jakarta.

The main Hosteko website is primarily Indonesian, while the billing system supports multiple languages including English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Danish and Estonian. Pricing is primarily displayed in Indonesian rupiah (Rp), with additional currency-selection functionality available through the billing platform.
