*📜 Plan description

The Single Server 1U grouped colocation plan uses the Miami package price and represents entry-level single-server rack placement. The Miami and Orlando versions include 75Mb/s monthly bandwidth, a 1Gb/s GigE burstable public port, a /29 VLAN allocation with 5 usable IPv4 addresses, 1 Amp at 208V power, 24x7x365 access, and shared rack space in Orlando, including the Miami alternative delivered over dark fiber toward the NAP of the Americas. Los Angeles uses the same 1U format with 75Mb/s bandwidth, 1Gb/s burstable public port, 5 usable IPs, 1 Amp at 208V power, and shared rack space in Los Angeles. Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and India provide equivalent 1U colocation with 50Mb/s monthly bandwidth, 1Gb/s burstable public port, 5 usable IPs, 1 Amp power, 24x7x365 access, and shared rack space; India specifies 1 Amp at 220V while several Latin American pages use 208V for the 1U entry. This grouped plan is suitable for placing a single customer-owned server where the main need is secure facility space, included IPs, included power, included bandwidth, and hands-on operational support without leasing a dedicated server.

All grouped colocation locations include premium redundant Tier 1 bandwidth providers, IP allocation, bandwidth, and power in the package price, with clients bringing their own rails. CORE access is available for tickets, phone, email, and Live Chat Concierge, and the operations model includes unlimited monthly reboots plus 24x7x365 remote hands, smart hands, and expert hands. Power availability is backed by UPS and generator-conditioned electrical infrastructure, with 100% uptime availability stated for the colocation packages. The global colocation footprint covers Orlando, the Miami alternative through Orlando with dark fiber to the NAP of the Americas, Los Angeles, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and India, providing options for U.S., Latin American, South American, and Asian deployments. Carrier-neutral and multi-carrier designs are central to the service, with on-net providers, private or public network interconnection, blended Tier 1 bandwidth, and the option to connect directly to HostDime's meshed network blend. Security and physical controls vary by facility but include staffed operations, CCTV or high-definition camera monitoring, biometric or facial-recognition access controls in several facilities, man-trap entry points, guarded facilities, and locked rack or cabinet access where included. Data center environments include redundant power, network connectivity, fire suppression, scalable electrical and mechanical systems, and local engineering support. Regional details: Miami colocation is delivered virtually from Orlando with dark fiber connectivity to Equinix MI1/NAP of the Americas and roughly 5-8 ms latency impact; Orlando uses a 25,000 square-foot facility and is connected to Miami through private dark fiber; Los Angeles is a 490,000 square-foot seven-story facility with access to carriers and One Wilshire connectivity; Brazil offers Joao Pessoa and Sao Paulo Tier III Design Certified facilities; Mexico is in Guadalajara with Tier III design and green POD-style scalability; Colombia uses the Bogota Nebula Tier IV facility with 70,000 square feet, private suites, cages, racks, high power density, and multiple on-net carriers; India uses a New Delhi Tier III facility with redundant connections and local low-latency hosting for Indian deployments.

📄 Editorial Review

HostDime is much more of a data center and infrastructure operator than a typical entry-level web host. The company was founded in 2003 by Manny Vivar, and the current corporate profile points to a business built around owned facilities, carrier-neutral connectivity, and enterprise-grade infrastructure rather than mass-market shared hosting. Their website is mainly in English, and public pricing is shown in USD.

HostDime sits in the space between classic hosting and full data center services. Instead of focusing heavily on beginner shared hosting, they center the business around bare metal servers, cloud servers, colocation, and related enterprise services. That makes the platform more relevant for developers, SaaS operators, agencies with serious workloads, resellers, and companies that need predictable infrastructure with room to scale.

The product catalog is broad, but it stays close to infrastructure. The main lines include managed dedicated servers, self-managed dedicated servers, cloud / cloud VPS, colocation, hybrid cloud through AWS Outposts, backup as a service, disaster recovery as a service, data protection, DDoS protection, data migrations, SSL certificates, domain registration, FTP storage, email filtering, and even Mac Mini colocation. They also offer software and licensing around cPanel, InterWorx, and WHMCS, which makes the platform usable both for enterprises and for hosting operators.

A notable point is their global footprint. HostDime ties its infrastructure to owned or operated presence in Florida, Los Angeles, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, the UK, and India, with the company global edge deployment. That gives the brand a more international and infrastructure-heavy profile than a local reseller-style provider.

This is not the kind of company that tries to win on beginner simplicity alone. The offer is better suited to customers who already understand what they need: dedicated resources, colocation space, high-availability cloud infrastructure, direct network quality, and managed services layered on top. For buyers searching for cheap starter hosting, the main website is not especially focused on that segment. For buyers looking for infrastructure depth, it is much more compelling.
