*📜 Plan description

The Private Space Mac Mini Colocation plan houses customer-owned Mac Mini hardware inside HostDime's Orlando, Florida data center for 100.00 USD per month. It includes 75 Mb/s monthly bandwidth, estimated at about 25 TB per month, with a 1 Gb/s burstable GigE uplink, 1 amp of power at 208V, and a /29 subnet with 4 usable IPv4 addresses. The package provides 24x7x365 access and is designed for customers who need to move Mac hardware out of an office into a redundant data center environment while keeping direct control over the machine itself. Because the plan is colocation rather than rented hosting, the hardware remains the customer's Mac Mini, while HostDime supplies space, power, connectivity, facility security, access, and support services around it. The private-space model costs more than the shared option but better suits customers who want a more separated Mac Mini placement arrangement while still using the same power, bandwidth, IP allocation, access, reboot, and remote-hands framework.

All Mac Mini Colocation packages include premium redundant Tier 1 bandwidth providers including Lumen, Level 3, Cogent, Telefonica, NTT, and Miami NOTA peering. The Orlando facility uses dual redundant fiber feeds, Orlando gateway dual entry, and private dark fiber to Miami NAP of the Americas. Power availability is rated at 100 percent through UPS and generator conditioned power. Customers receive unlimited monthly reboots and 24x7x365 remote, smart, and expert hands access. The CORE client portal is used for ticket, phone, email, and live chat concierge contact. The Orlando data center is carrier neutral, allowing enterprises to buy the space and power they need while using direct carrier connectivity where appropriate.

📄 Editorial Review

HostDime is much more of a data center and infrastructure operator than a typical entry-level web host. The company was founded in 2003 by Manny Vivar, and the current corporate profile points to a business built around owned facilities, carrier-neutral connectivity, and enterprise-grade infrastructure rather than mass-market shared hosting. Their website is mainly in English, and public pricing is shown in USD.

HostDime sits in the space between classic hosting and full data center services. Instead of focusing heavily on beginner shared hosting, they center the business around bare metal servers, cloud servers, colocation, and related enterprise services. That makes the platform more relevant for developers, SaaS operators, agencies with serious workloads, resellers, and companies that need predictable infrastructure with room to scale.

The product catalog is broad, but it stays close to infrastructure. The main lines include managed dedicated servers, self-managed dedicated servers, cloud / cloud VPS, colocation, hybrid cloud through AWS Outposts, backup as a service, disaster recovery as a service, data protection, DDoS protection, data migrations, SSL certificates, domain registration, FTP storage, email filtering, and even Mac Mini colocation. They also offer software and licensing around cPanel, InterWorx, and WHMCS, which makes the platform usable both for enterprises and for hosting operators.

A notable point is their global footprint. HostDime ties its infrastructure to owned or operated presence in Florida, Los Angeles, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, the UK, and India, with the company global edge deployment. That gives the brand a more international and infrastructure-heavy profile than a local reseller-style provider.

This is not the kind of company that tries to win on beginner simplicity alone. The offer is better suited to customers who already understand what they need: dedicated resources, colocation space, high-availability cloud infrastructure, direct network quality, and managed services layered on top. For buyers searching for cheap starter hosting, the main website is not especially focused on that segment. For buyers looking for infrastructure depth, it is much more compelling.
