Host-Unlimited.de is a German hosting and server provider founded in 2009 by Tim-Gerrit Bieber, who started the business at the age of 18. The operation began as a sole proprietorship with fewer than ten conventional tower servers and was reorganized as Bieber IT GmbH in 2020. Tim-Gerrit Bieber remains the sole shareholder and managing director.

The privately held company is headquartered in Gifhorn, Lower Saxony, and has developed from a small hosting operation into a substantial gaming and server-infrastructure provider. Its platform now includes hundreds of physical servers, more than 10,000 processor threads, around 60 TB of RAM and over 400 TB of enterprise SSD and NVMe storage. The customer base exceeds 200,000 registered accounts, while hosted gaming services support more than 500,000 players per day.

Host-Unlimited covers Linux VPS, Windows VPS, dedicated servers, shared web hosting, domains, game servers and TeamSpeak voice servers. Game hosting remains its most distinctive area, although the VPS and bare-metal ranges are also suitable for websites, databases, VPNs, private applications, development environments, backup systems and business infrastructure.

Linux VPS hosting is divided between LXC containers, standard KVM machines and higher-performance KVM Ultra servers. Entry-level LXC packages begin at €2.99 per month and can be configured with as many as 16 virtual CPU cores, 128 GB of ECC RAM, 480 GB of SSD storage and network connectivity reaching 4 Gbit/s.

Standard KVM servers begin at €9.99 per month and provide complete hardware virtualization for Linux, Windows and FreeBSD. Customers control their own operating-system kernel, partition structure and installation. KVM Ultra packages start at €24.99 per month and use higher-frequency AMD Ryzen or EPYC processors with NVMe storage, making them particularly appropriate for game servers and applications that depend on strong single-core performance.

VPS packages include IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity, two downloadable snapshot slots, reverse DNS control, TUN/TAP support, Docker compatibility, operating-system changes, DDoS protection and a fair-use traffic allowance. KVM servers also include VNC installation access and a rescue environment.

The operating-system library includes Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Arch Linux, NixOS, FreeBSD, TrueNAS and several Windows desktop and server editions.

Windows VPS hosting uses the KVM and KVM Ultra platforms, beginning at €9.99 and €24.99 per month. Supported systems include Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows Server editions from 2016 through 2025. Windows licenses are not automatically included, so customers must provide a suitable license or obtain one separately.

Dedicated servers use non-virtualized hardware and are available with AMD Ryzen processors, SSD or NVMe storage and configurable memory. Entry configurations include a Ryzen 5 5500 server with 32 GB RAM and two 500 GB SSDs from €69 per month, a Ryzen 7 5700 system with two 2 TB SSDs from €89, and a Ryzen 9 9900X3D platform from €119 per month. Setup charges range from €79 to €199.

Bare-metal systems include redundant network links, redundant electrical connections, IPMI or BMC remote administration, a /64 IPv6 subnet and 100 TB of monthly traffic. Standard network connectivity is provided through 2 Gbit/s LACP, with an optional upgrade to two 10 Gbit/s connections.

Customers can mount custom ISO images, use the remote console, adjust permitted BIOS settings and install Linux, FreeBSD or Windows. One assisted operating-system reinstallation per month is included, while additional assisted reinstallations cost €10.

The dedicated-server information contains inconsistent IPv4 allocations. One part lists five IPv4 addresses, while another refers to a single included IPv4 address. Customers should confirm the exact allocation shown in the final configuration before ordering.

Shared web hosting begins at €2 per month and includes 10 GB of SSD storage, one website, one mailbox and one database. Larger packages cost €3, €5 and €6 per month, increasing capacity to as much as 80 GB of storage, 300 mailboxes, 30 databases and 30 websites.

Every hosting package includes a free .de or .eu domain, Plesk administration, a web application firewall and no setup fee. The environment supports PHP 7 and PHP 8, a PHP memory limit of 512 MB, phpMyAdmin, FTP accounts, Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates, website statistics and one-click installation of applications such as WordPress, Joomla and TYPO3.

Backups can be created manually or scheduled automatically. They may be transferred to an external FTP server or stored through supported services such as Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox. Email accounts can be accessed through webmail interfaces including Roundcube and Horde.

Domain registration is available separately from web hosting. Monthly prices begin at €0.95 for .de domains, €1.75 for .at, .ch and .eu, €1.85 for .com, .net and .org, and €2.45 for .biz and .info.

The domain-management interface provides control over DNS records, nameservers, A records, MX records, CNAME entries and external hosting assignments. Incoming domain transfers are free when a valid AuthInfo or EPP authorization code is supplied. Domains follow the same prepaid billing model as the other services.

Game-server hosting covers dozens of current and established games. Available titles include Minecraft, Minecraft Bedrock, ARK, 7 Days to Die, Arma 3, Counter-Strike 2, Conan Exiles, DayZ, Enshrouded, Factorio, Garry’s Mod, Palworld, Rust, Satisfactory, Space Engineers, Terraria, Valheim, V Rising and Windrose.

Entry prices generally range from €3.99 to €9.99 per month, depending on the game, available memory and required player slots. Budget and Premium service levels are available. Premium servers receive higher CPU priority, placement on less heavily loaded host machines, additional memory and approximately 30% more processing reserve.

Common game-server features include 150 GB of NVMe storage, automatic updates, FTP and WebFTP access, savegame uploads, scheduled commands, automatic restarts, subuser accounts, five MySQL databases and support for game-specific plugins, mods or modpacks.

TeamSpeak 3 hosting begins at €1.89 per month, while individual slots start at €0.30. Servers can support up to 250 slots and include as much as 25 GB of file storage. Activation is usually completed within approximately 60 seconds.

The TeamSpeak service operates with proper licensing and includes support through tickets, email, callback assistance and live chat.

The website has a modern design and is available in German and English. Services are priced in EUR, with consumer prices including the applicable VAT rate for the customer’s EU country.
