ho.ua is a Ukrainian hosting service that has operated since 2005. The business is legally operated by individual entrepreneur Nataliia Vitaliivna Vlasenko from Kyiv. More than two decades of continuous activity give the company an unusually long track record, especially within the free and low-cost hosting market.

The service focuses on free hosting, paid Linux shared hosting, lifetime hosting, unmanaged VPS and domain registration assistance. Its packages are primarily suited to personal websites, small business pages, static projects, educational use and customers who already understand basic website or Linux server administration.

The free hosting package works well for testing PHP applications, learning FTP and MySQL, or maintaining a small personal website. Every account receives a technological address using a subdomain such as login.ho.ua or login.houa.org. The package supports one website, up to ten domain aliases, an SSL certificate and as much as 2 GB of SSD storage after activation.

PHP, MySQL, CGI, Perl, Python, cron jobs, SSI, .htaccess and phpMyAdmin are available once the account is fully activated. This makes the free package more functional than many simplified website-builder trials, although it remains a restricted environment rather than a permanent commercial hosting plan.

Free hosting requires a visible backlink to ho.ua. Mass mailing is prohibited, outgoing connections are restricted, and cURL can communicate only with approved destinations. Resource-intensive applications, outdated CMS installations, online games, chat systems, torrent trackers, proxy services and several older website platforms are not permitted.

Accounts can also be closed when they remain unchanged for an extended period or repeatedly exceed CPU, database, storage or file limits. The free service should therefore be treated as a temporary trial. Different account conditions use maximum periods of three and six months, so it is not a dependable long-term substitute for paid hosting.

Big Hosting is the largest conventional shared-hosting package. It includes 50 GB of SSD storage, ten separate websites, up to 100 domain aliases, SSL certificates, MySQL databases, PHP, CGI, Perl, Python, cron jobs, phpMyAdmin and daily backups. Its daily resource allowance reaches 1,500 seconds of CPU processing and 270 seconds of SQL processing.

Economy Hosting is designed for smaller projects. It provides 20 GB of SSD storage, two separate websites, up to 20 domains, SSL certificates, databases and the same scripting environment. Daily limits are 900 seconds of CPU processing and 120 seconds of SQL processing.

Static Hosting includes 50 GB of SSD storage, support for ten websites and as many as 100 domains. PHP, MySQL and other dynamic server-side technologies are excluded. This package is suitable for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, downloadable files and other static content that does not require a database or application runtime.

Traffic is unlimited across the paid shared-hosting packages, and SSL certificates are included. Email mailboxes are not part of the hosting service. Customers who need addresses under their own domain must use an external email provider, which adds another account and billing relationship for business users.

Lifetime Hosting provides the Big or Economy package through a single payment instead of monthly renewal. The plans retain the normal traffic allowance, scripting environment, websites, databases and storage limits. Additional resources can be purchased when a project grows.

The lifetime arrangement applies primarily to continued hosting availability. Full technical support is included during the first two years, but indefinite support is not part of the one-time purchase. Customers considering this option should also maintain independent backups, since a lifetime package does not eliminate normal operational and account risks.

The VPS range is divided into SSD+, RAM+ and CPU+ categories, with both standard and lower-cost Economy configurations. Every virtual server includes root access, one public IPv4 address, unlimited traffic, SSD storage and Local RAID. Additional IPv4 addresses are available for $2 each.

SSD+ configurations prioritize storage, RAM+ servers provide larger memory allocations, and CPU+ packages offer more processor cores. Available operating-system families include Debian, Rocky Linux and Ubuntu.

These VPS plans are unmanaged. Customers are responsible for Linux administration, SSH access, server security, application installation, firewall configuration, updates and troubleshooting. No commercial VPS control panel is included by default.

Some VPS configurations use different prices and resource allocations across the Ukrainian and international sections. The international information also contains an older promotional period that expired in 2025. The exact disk, RAM and CPU allocation should be checked inside the payment interface before completing an order.

Docker and VPN usage are restricted under the VPS operating conditions. The platform is therefore better suited to conventional Linux web servers, development environments and lightweight application hosting than to container-heavy deployments or VPN services.

Domain registration is handled through a related registrar service. Common extensions include .com.ua, .kiev.ua, .org.ua, .com and .net. Ho.ua does not operate authoritative name servers for externally registered domains. Customers normally retain DNS management at their registrar and direct an A record toward the appropriate ho.ua server.

The interface is available in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Prices in the Ukrainian section are primarily displayed in Ukrainian hryvnia, while international pages use euros. Certain additional services, including extra IP addresses, are priced in U.S. dollars.

The English version is usable, although parts of the translation are uneven and some product details differ between language sections. The website itself has an old-fashioned layout, compact forms and a traditional account-management flow. It remains functional, but it is less convenient on modern mobile devices than newer hosting dashboards.
