GlobeHost is an Indian web hosting and cloud-services provider founded in 2010. The business operates through GlobeHost India Private Limited, incorporated on October 23, 2015, and maintains offices in Mandi Gobindgarh and Zirakpur, Punjab. Vinay Goyal serves as CEO.

The company has expanded from traditional shared hosting into a broad infrastructure and digital-services provider. Its portfolio includes Linux and Windows shared hosting, managed WordPress hosting, cloud hosting, KVM VPS, Linux and Windows dedicated servers, Linux and Windows reseller hosting, domain registration, business email, Google Workspace, SSL certificates, website security, backup storage, website development, logo design and managed SEO.

More than 20,000 customers use its services, with the strongest focus remaining on Indian individuals, developers, agencies and small businesses. Infrastructure in India and the United States also makes GlobeHost practical for customers targeting audiences outside its domestic market.

Linux shared hosting is the lowest-cost entry point. Customers can choose between Indian and US locations, while account administration is handled through cPanel or GlobeHost’s own GH Panel, depending on the selected package. Accounts include SSD storage, Varnish caching, free SSL certificates, email hosting, Softaculous application installation and compatibility with PHP, MySQL, WordPress, Joomla, Laravel and popular ecommerce applications.

PHP 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3 are available alongside phpMyAdmin, cron jobs, custom PHP configuration, FTPS, shell access, WordPress optimization and webmail using POP3, SMTP and IMAP. Malware scanning is included with applicable packages, and free website migration is available for websites up to 5 GB.

Shared hosting is intended for ordinary websites rather than resource-intensive applications. Accounts using more than 25% of the available processor for extended periods may be restricted. A soft limit of approximately 250,000 inodes applies, individual email accounts should remain below 1 GB, and customers requiring large numbers of mailboxes may need a larger package. Ordinary shared accounts are also limited to approximately 1,000 daily visitors. Large backup archives, video collections and audio libraries are not suitable for storage on these plans.

Windows shared hosting supports ASP.NET applications, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL 8 and IIS-based websites. Plesk replaces cPanel on the Windows platform, making these packages useful for Microsoft-based applications and websites that depend on the .NET Framework.

Managed WordPress hosting runs on a cloud platform with dedicated processor and memory allocations. The entry package supports one website, approximately 25,000 monthly visits, two processor cores, 2 GB RAM and 5 GB storage. Higher packages support between two and five websites, as many as 500,000 monthly visits, up to six processor cores, 6 GB RAM and 40 GB storage.

WordPress accounts include automatic core updates, optimized databases, unlimited email accounts, Jetpack, integrated caching, CDN functionality and free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates. Ceph storage distributes data across three separate storage devices, while automatic failover protects the service when an individual device becomes unavailable.

These WordPress plans do not include cPanel or WordPress Multisite. Complete package changes are restricted, although additional processor and memory resources can be purchased. Automated backup and malware-removal functions may require the separate Security Suite, and managed WordPress hosting is excluded from the standard refund guarantee.

Cloud hosting combines cPanel with dedicated processor and memory resources. It uses SSD storage, NGINX Plus caching, managed software updates, one-click application installation and scalable resources. Customers can increase an account to as many as eight processor cores and 8 GB RAM without migrating to a VPS.

Indian and US cloud locations are available, although dedicated IP addresses are limited to the US platform. Weekly backups can be requested, but independent customer-controlled backups remain important. Complete plan upgrades and downgrades are restricted, while processor and memory allocations can still be increased individually.

The Linux VPS range uses KVM virtualization and NVMe storage in India and the United States. US configurations begin with one processor core, 2 GB RAM, 50 GB storage and 1 TB traffic, extending to eight cores, 32 GB RAM, 500 GB storage and 16 TB traffic. Indian configurations range from one core, 2 GB RAM and 20 GB storage to six cores, 32 GB RAM and 200 GB storage.

VPS customers receive root access, VNC console access and controls for starting, stopping, rebuilding and reinstalling their servers. Private networking, DDoS protection, additional volume storage and optional WHMCS integration are available. cPanel or Plesk licenses can also be added when the server has sufficient memory and processor resources.

VPS support is semi-managed. Assistance covers startup failures, login problems, network connectivity, initial module configuration, firewall installation, operating-system patches, KVM issues, reinstalls and reverse DNS. Customers remain responsible for applications, websites, advanced security configuration and independent backups.

US dedicated servers use physical hardware with RAID 1 storage, multiple IP addresses and defined monthly traffic allowances. The entry configuration includes an Intel Xeon D-2141I processor, eight cores, 16 GB DDR4 memory, two 500 GB SSDs in RAID 1 and 5 TB traffic. Larger configurations increase memory to 28 GB or 60 GB, storage to approximately 1.79 TB and traffic to 15 TB.

Dedicated customers receive an infrastructure-management interface with VNC, monitoring, rebuilding, restart and shutdown controls. Multiple Linux distributions and hosting control panels are available, with WHMCS offered as an additional service.

The separate Windows dedicated-server range includes Windows Server, administrator access, firewall management and system updates. Several configurations use Intel Xeon E3 v3 processors, DDR3 memory and mechanical RAID storage. This is older server hardware, so customers should confirm the exact processor generation, drive type and replacement policy before selecting a longer billing cycle.

Linux reseller hosting combines cPanel and WHM with white-label branding, Softaculous, SSL certificates, shell access, email hosting and account migration. WHMCS can be added for automated billing and account provisioning. Both Indian and US reseller locations are available.

Windows reseller hosting uses Plesk Obsidian, Windows Server 2022 and IIS 10. It supports ASP.NET 3.5 and 4.8, Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and 2017, MySQL 8 and phpMyAdmin. Packages provide between 10 GB and 100 GB storage, while websites, email accounts and Plesk customer accounts are not numerically restricted.

Domain services cover popular generic and Indian extensions, transfers, forwarding, DNS administration and customer-level domain controls. Business email is supplied through Titan and includes mobile applications, webmail, calendars, contacts, antivirus and spam filtering. Mailbox capacities range from 5 GB to 50 GB. Google Workspace is also available for organizations requiring Gmail and Google productivity tools under their own domain.

Additional services include SSL certificates, website security, backup products, website design, logo design and managed SEO. Small backup packages provide between 2 GB and 10 GB storage with a backup interval of approximately 30 days. One complete restoration per year is included.

The commercial website is primarily available in English, while the billing and knowledge-base system supports additional European and Asian language interfaces. Product prices are primarily displayed in Indian rupees.

The website has a responsive, modern layout rather than an old fixed-width design. However, some sections contain inconsistent pricing or older technical specifications. Cloud hosting has different starting prices in separate areas, several Windows dedicated configurations use older hardware, and parts of the legal documentation still refer to US-dollar billing even though the storefront primarily uses INR.
