GETUS Communications is an independent Canadian telecommunications company founded in 2015 by Tanner Gettis. Headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, the company combines web hosting with residential and business Internet, television, VoIP, unified communications, hosted PBX, video conferencing, domain registration and related connectivity services.

Web hosting is only one part of the broader GETUS portfolio, but the available packages cover the essential requirements of personal websites, small business pages, email accounts and MySQL-based applications. The active range consists of four shared hosting plans named Plesk 125, Plesk 250, Plesk 375 and Plesk 500.

Every package includes unlimited email accounts, FTP accounts and MySQL databases, together with instant activation and access to technical support throughout the year. The main differences are storage capacity and monthly traffic.

Plesk 125 provides approximately 25 GB of storage and 125 GB of monthly bandwidth. Plesk 250 increases the limits to approximately 75 GB and 250 GB, while Plesk 375 includes approximately 125 GB of storage and 375 GB of traffic. Plesk 500 is the largest shared package, with approximately 250 GB of storage and 700 GB of monthly bandwidth.

These allowances are generous for conventional shared hosting, particularly for customers maintaining several websites, large email archives or content-heavy business pages. The unlimited account quantities remain subject to the normal processing and storage limits of a shared environment, so resource-intensive applications may eventually require a more powerful platform.

VPS, dedicated servers and colocation are not part of the active hosting range. The service is therefore better suited to websites that can operate comfortably inside a managed shared environment rather than projects requiring root access, custom operating systems or guaranteed processor and memory allocations.

Domain registration and transfers are handled through the customer portal. A hosting order can be connected to a newly registered domain, an incoming transfer or a domain already maintained with another registrar.

The company’s broader telecom services may be useful for Canadian customers who prefer to consolidate several services under one provider. Residential customers can obtain cable Internet, fibre Internet, television and VoIP phone service, while business customers can combine Internet connectivity with hosted voice, call-center features, messaging, website chat and video meetings.

The main website has a modern responsive layout and is suitable for desktop and mobile use. English is the primary language, while French is also used for certain support and regulatory information.
