📄 Editorial Review

FDC Servers is a privately owned infrastructure provider founded in 2002 by Petr Kral. The operation began in Chicago with dedicated servers, colocation, and unmetered 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps connections, followed by the formal establishment of FDC Servers LLC in 2003. The company is now headquartered in Destin, Florida, while its server and network presence extends across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and South America.

FDC Servers has developed from a single-location server business into a global provider specializing in high-bandwidth infrastructure. Important stages in its expansion included the addition of VPS hosting in 2005, Denver infrastructure in 2009, Czech operations in 2011, and new locations in Amsterdam and Vienna in 2012. Wider deployment across the United States, Europe, and Asia followed between 2013 and 2017. The company introduced 100 Gbps server connectivity in 2018, tested 300 Gbps and 400 Gbps configurations in 2021, and added instant server deployment together with metered-bandwidth alternatives in 2023.

More than 170,000 servers have been provisioned during the company’s operating history, with over 2,100 dedicated systems remaining active. Average network utilization exceeds 10 Tbps. The workforce remains relatively compact, with approximately 11–50 employees, making the scale of its infrastructure and bandwidth operations particularly notable.

The product portfolio is concentrated on unmetered dedicated servers, VPS hosting, GPU servers, colocation, CDN delivery, IP transit, custom infrastructure, and reseller services. FDC Servers is not a conventional shared-hosting company. Shared hosting accounts, bundled domain registration, consumer email packages, and beginner-oriented website builders are not central to the business.

Unmetered Dedicated Servers are the company’s most recognizable service. Customers receive physical single-tenant hardware with root access, remote management, traffic statistics, and network ports ranging from 10 Gbps to 100 Gbps. Available configurations use Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC processors together with SSD or NVMe storage. Most standard servers are billed monthly without a long contractual commitment.

In-stock servers can normally be activated in approximately 15 minutes. Custom systems can be assembled according to processor, RAM, storage, location, bandwidth, and port-speed requirements. This flexibility is useful for customers requiring unusual storage layouts, large memory allocations, high-capacity network interfaces, or infrastructure tailored to a specific application.

The unmetered model is particularly suitable for media distribution, software repositories, public mirrors, backup platforms, large downloads, proxy infrastructure, streaming, and other bandwidth-intensive workloads. Traffic is not charged by the terabyte and does not generate automatic overage fees, although maximum throughput remains limited by the physical connection selected for the server.

Unmetered VPS plans use AMD EPYC processors and NVMe storage. Every plan includes unmetered traffic, while available network connections range from 10 Mbps on the smallest package to 50 Gbps on high-capacity virtual machines. Supported Linux distributions include Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, and Rocky Linux.

The VPS range begins with small development or testing environments and extends to substantial configurations with 128 GB of RAM and 2 TB of NVMe storage. Customers receive root access, monitoring, snapshots, operating-system reinstallation, and daily backups. VPS instances remain self-managed, so application installation, operating-system maintenance, security, and troubleshooting remain the customer’s responsibility.

VPS deployment is available in Amsterdam, London, Prague, Vienna, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, and Singapore. The choice of locations makes the service suitable for applications requiring regional deployment, lower latency, or infrastructure distributed across several continents.

GPU Servers support artificial intelligence, machine learning, rendering, transcoding, remote graphics, scientific computing, and other acceleration-heavy workloads. Available hardware includes NVIDIA L4, L40S, H100, H200, GH200, and RTX Pro 6000 accelerators. Larger Core AI and Max AI platforms can accommodate two, four, or eight GPUs.

GPU clusters can be connected through private Layer 2 networking with internal capacity reaching 400 Gbps. These systems are particularly suitable for distributed AI workloads, model training, inference platforms, rendering farms, and high-performance computing clusters.

GPU deployments require more preparation than standard dedicated servers. Typical provisioning can take approximately one week in North America, two weeks in Europe, and two to three weeks in Asia-Pacific or Latin America. Monthly billing remains available, while discounts may be negotiated for larger installations or longer commitments.

The CDN service operates across 23 strategic locations and supports automatic SSL, TLS delivery, HTTP/2, WebSocket connections, HLS caching, and cache purging. Customers can connect their own hostnames through CNAME records and manage access through allowlists, blocklists, and signed URLs.

A single global traffic-pricing structure is used rather than separate rates for each region. This simplifies billing for applications delivering content to audiences distributed across several continents.

Colocation is delivered primarily through Equinix facilities. Options range from individual 1U or 2U servers to high-density racks, private infrastructure, GPU deployments, and 400 Gbps configurations. Full racks can support up to 22 kW, depending on the selected facility and arrangement.

Customers can add private networking, IPv4 and IPv6 allocations, cross-connects, and remote-hands assistance. Colocation is particularly suitable for organizations that own their hardware but require international data-center access and high-capacity connectivity without operating their own facility.

IP Transit is available for hosting companies, internet service providers, content platforms, and organizations operating their own autonomous systems. Connection sizes include 10 Gbps, 100 Gbps, and 400 Gbps, with flat-rate and 95th-percentile billing options.

Customers can establish BGP sessions, use IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity, apply BGP communities, and use remote-triggered blackholing during attacks or routing incidents. Traffic can also be aggregated across multiple locations, helping larger customers manage geographically distributed infrastructure under a common network arrangement.

The reseller program is intended for established hosting businesses capable of handling customer support and abuse complaints. Recurring discounts begin at approximately 5% and can increase to 30% for companies generating more than $60,000 in monthly recurring revenue.

FDC Servers also builds specialized infrastructure for AdTech, real-time bidding, SaaS applications, APIs, CDN origin nodes, cache servers, game distribution, storage clusters, Ceph, MinIO, backup systems, live streaming, video-on-demand, and IPTV platforms. These solutions combine dedicated servers, virtual machines, private networking, storage, and high-capacity unmetered connections.

The website uses a modern responsive design and works properly on current desktop and mobile devices. English is fully supported together with localized versions in German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Czech, Turkish, Chinese, and Korean. Product prices remain primarily displayed in U.S. dollars across the localized versions.
