The hosting business dates to 2004, giving it more than two decades of activity in the Australian hosting market. The underlying Australian private company has an even longer corporate history, with its ABN active since January 21, 2000 and GST registration from July 1, 2000. The business is based in New South Wales and serves individual businesses, corporate customers, agencies and organizations requiring locally hosted Australian infrastructure.

The service portfolio combines domain registration, cPanel Cloud Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Drupal Hosting, Joomla Hosting, PrestaShop Hosting, OpenCart Hosting, MediaWiki Hosting, Magento Hosting, VMware VPS/Cloud Servers, AWS Cloud Hosting and business email. FASTDOT also works beyond infrastructure, providing website development, eCommerce services, managed SEO and WordPress maintenance. DNS management, CDN-related services and additional software or hosting add-ons are integrated through the same customer environment.

The Australian cPanel Cloud Hosting range is suitable for small and medium websites. Starter includes 5 GB storage, 15 GB monthly bandwidth, one database and five email accounts. Professional increases capacity to 15 GB storage and 50 GB bandwidth, while Business provides 30 GB storage and 100 GB bandwidth. Enterprise reaches 60 GB storage, 250 GB bandwidth, ten databases and 50 email accounts. Hosting includes free SSL, automatic backups, enhanced security, LiteSpeed, one-click software installation, email forwarding and Australian support.

WordPress hosting uses the same cloud-oriented foundation with WordPress-specific conveniences such as automatic updates and, on suitable plans, WP-CLI and SSH access. The Sydney location makes these plans particularly relevant to websites whose visitors are primarily in Australia.

Security is stronger than on a basic entry-level shared hosting platform. Imunify360 provides malware protection together with daily malware scanning and a web application firewall. DDoS protection, infrastructure and website monitoring, external backups and free website migration are also available. Full administrator and SSH access make the range better suited to experienced system administrators, developers and organizations with their own technical expertise.

FASTDOT also provides cloud hosting based on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. The environment incorporates EC2, VPC, S3 and EBS technologies, with geographically distributed DNS replication across the United States, Asia-Pacific and Europe. Amazon cPanel plans include configurations beginning around 25 GB storage and 100 GB bandwidth, with larger options providing 50 GB/250 GB and 100 GB/500 GB. This combines familiar cPanel administration with underlying hyperscale cloud infrastructure.

Secure Email Hosting is available separately for customers that only need professional email. Packages range from a single mailbox with 5 GB storage to larger configurations with up to 12 mailboxes and 50 GB storage. SSL and Roundcube webmail are included, with the service hosted in Sydney. This is practical for small businesses that need domain-based email without purchasing a complete website-hosting package.

Domain registration is another established part of the service. FASTDOT supports extensions such as .com, .net, .org, .com.au and .au together with many newer generic TLDs. Domain management is integrated with the same customer portal used for hosting, billing and related services.

FASTDOT also maintains geographically targeted hosting for Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Amsterdam and Singapore. US hosting is associated with New York and Equinix infrastructure, with free SSL, backups and a 99.9% uptime commitment.

UK hosting is intended for customers wanting their websites closer to British visitors and refers to London deployment. Some individual UK package specifications, however, simultaneously list Sydney, Australia and Equinix. Customers requiring strict UK data residency or a specific latency profile should therefore confirm the actual provisioning location before ordering.

English is the primary website and customer-interface language. Australian dollars are the baseline currency for the main product catalog, while regional hosting offers can use local currencies, including pounds sterling for UK-oriented packages.
