Its business has always been more specialized than that of a typical mass-market hosting provider, with a particularly strong position in regulated domains, restricted namespaces, corporate domain portfolios and trademark protection.

The company works with conventional generic extensions, country-code domains and alternative blockchain-based naming systems. Its real advantage becomes clear when a registration requires eligibility documents, professional credentials, trademark verification or direct coordination with a registry. Extensions connected with banks, insurers, pharmacies, accountants, cooperatives, postal organizations and real-estate professionals often involve more administration than a normal .com registration, and this is where EnCirca has built much of its reputation.
