Donweb was one of the longest-standing hosting brands in Latin America, founded in 2002 in Rosario, Argentina by Guillermo Tornatore. The company grew from a regional web-services business into a broader Latin American hosting and cloud platform, with a strong focus on Spanish-speaking markets, localized storefronts, regional pricing, and a much wider product catalog than simple shared hosting.

A major ownership change happened when Web.com acquired Donweb, with the transaction completed on February 1, 2017. At that point, Donweb already had around 85–90 employees and was known as an important Latin American hosting and domain-registration provider. Later, Web.com became part of the broader Newfold Digital structure, and in June 2025 Web.com was integrated into Network Solutions. Today, donweb.com redirects to NetworkSolutions.com, so the original Donweb website should be treated as inactive / migrated, not as an independently operating hosting storefront.

Historically, Donweb stood out because of its regional approach. The platform was mainly Spanish-first, with country-specific versions and local currencies instead of forcing all customers into a single global USD-only catalog. Their commercial presence covered Argentina and other Latin American markets, with pricing shown in currencies such as Argentine pesos, Brazilian reais, Peruvian soles, euros, and USD depending on the selected country version.
