Domena.pl is a long-established Polish domain registrar and hosting provider operating since 2002. The company was originally known as Agnat sp. z o.o., with its legal name changed to Domena.pl sp. z o.o. on April 15, 2022. The change did not affect its KRS registration number, tax identification, bank account, or registered office. The company is headquartered in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and operates under KRS 0000090753 with share capital of 1,027,500 PLN.

One of the founders was Wojciech Gostomczyk, who remains the dominant shareholder. Dawid Kulbaka has served as President of the Management Board since 2013 and also owns a minority interest in the business. Domena.pl remains Polish-controlled rather than being part of one of the large international hosting groups. The business maintains around 100,000 domains and employs approximately 45 qualified specialists.

Domena.pl has also participated in consolidation of the Polish hosting market. One important transaction was the 2011 acquisition of Lap.pl (lap.pl), completed while the company was still operating under the Agnat name.

The service portfolio extends well beyond domain registration. The shared hosting platform is divided into four main packages. All plans use SSD storage and include unlimited traffic, email accounts, MySQL databases and FTP accounts. PHP 8.4, SSL support, webmail, CRON tasks, website statistics, anti-spam protection, backups and access to Domena.pl's proprietary hosting management environment are also included.

The entry-level Podstawowy package provides 200 GB of total storage, divided into 150 GB for website files and 50 GB for email. It includes unlimited transfer, email accounts, MySQL databases and FTP accounts, with 5 GB allocated for database storage. This tier does not include the Mini SSL certificate supplied with higher hosting packages.

Optymalny increases total storage to 300 GB, consisting of 100 GB for website files and 200 GB for email. Database capacity includes 10 GB for MySQL and 2 GB for PostgreSQL, while one Mini SSL certificate is included. Daily and weekly backup protection makes this package more appropriate for a conventional business website.

Profesjonalny provides 500 GB of storage, divided into 200 GB for website files and 300 GB for email. MySQL and PostgreSQL capacity increases to 15 GB and 3 GB respectively, and two domains can use Mini SSL certificates.

The largest Elitarny package provides 1 TB of total storage, with 300 GB allocated to website data and 700 GB to email. It maintains unlimited traffic, mailboxes, MySQL databases and FTP accounts while supporting 10 GB of MySQL storage and 5 GB of PostgreSQL storage. Its unusually large email allocation makes it particularly relevant for companies maintaining extensive mailbox archives or numerous business accounts.

The shared platform operates with defined resource limits instead of an undefined unlimited-computing policy. Hosting accounts have a 256 MB PHP memory limit, up to 1 GB of memory for all processes belonging to the hosting package, 50 processes, a 60-second PHP execution limit and up to 100 simultaneous database connections. HTTP request-rate controls are also applied. These limits are appropriate for ordinary shared hosting, although resource-intensive applications may require VPS or dedicated infrastructure.

A useful feature for customers changing providers is free migration. Domena.pl can transfer websites and email accounts, including WordPress installations and other common web platforms. Migration is handled with an assigned specialist, while the existing website and mail service can remain operational during the transfer. Hosting can also be supplied without charge until the customer's previous hosting contract expires.

VPS Cloud provides isolated virtual server resources with configurable CPU capacity, RAM and storage. Customers receive administrator/root access and can manage the operating environment independently. External backup can be added. Pricing is calculated according to selected resources and shown as a monthly equivalent, although VPS contracts are paid one year in advance. Provisioning normally takes no more than one working day and does not carry an installation fee.

The dedicated server range targets substantially larger workloads. Domena.pl supplies the physical hardware, installs the chosen operating system and provides remote graphical console access, virtual media, power controls and hardware monitoring.

Current Standard SSD, Elite SSD and Premium SSD configurations use dual Intel Xeon processors with 28 cores and 56 threads. Memory ranges from 64 GB to 256 GB ECC DDR4, while mirrored enterprise SSD storage ranges from 2 x 240 GB to 2 x 960 GB. Dedicated servers include one IP address, unmetered traffic, a 100 Mbps network connection and a 99.9% SLA.

Domains remain one of the company's core businesses. Domena.pl supports Polish and international extensions, transfers using AuthInfo codes and a dedicated domain administration environment. Registration promotions can substantially reduce the initial price of popular extensions, particularly .pl, while renewal pricing is considerably higher and should be included in long-term cost calculations.

For valuable .pl domains, Registry Lock adds registry-level protection against unauthorized DNS modifications, ownership changes, deletion or domain hijacking. The service operates through NASK and requires additional authorization procedures for protected changes.

SSL certificates are available from GoGetSSL, Sectigo and RapidSSL. Available certificate types include standard domain validation, wildcard, multidomain and organization-validated certificates, covering anything from a basic website to larger multi-domain business deployments.

Website creation is another important service. Domena.pl develops individual business websites using its own CMS, with projects starting at approximately 1,999 PLN net. Hosting, domains, SSL, website development and subsequent Internet marketing can therefore be combined under the same provider.

The primary Domena.pl website operates in Polish, while its separate domain registration and management environment supports both Polish and English. Services are priced in PLN, with net and gross price views available across many of the commercial sections.
